  • nice

  • i solve the last layer a different way without all of those uneeded long algorithms... thumbs up if you dont use this guys method for the last layer.

  • Woa, I solve the cube in a totally different way to this.

I've not watched the 3 other parts, I've just come straight to part 4, because I can't remember the last part to solve the cube. (It's been years since I last did it)

But this is different to what I learnt. Cool man, as long as the cube gets done, I guess it doesn't matter which way you do it. :D

I better keep searching for a video of someone who does it myway, then I can jog my memory with the final part.

  • Hey guys, if you are having trouble with this step, just check out my new channel and each step is a video just like this so that i can get in detail on each part

    Check it out plz!!

  • i avrege 30

  • you're the king,,,thank you verry much :)))

  • you're the king,,,thank you verry much :)))

  • @daado91 first top comment that have no thumbs up lol

  • Thanks Man you are the Best I got it now now i can show of

  • I remember back when I was learning how to solve the damn thing, I wathced these videos alot! They were really helpful! I just sat down today and watched them again, and found out why I was so confused back then! Its a good video but Thrawst you should learn how to call the pieces by their correct names. You switch the names Corners and Edges as the wind blows :D And you should move alot slower too!

  • I've been thinking about making a 3x3 how-to, but my main problem is either I go too fast and explain everything too quickly, or I go way to slow and talk for like 20 minutes about good and bad edges for the cross. Sigh...

  • Lol thrawst, you don't teach 2 look oll and pll to someone clicking on "How to solve the rubik's cube" you teach 2 look oll and pll in a video called "2 look oll and pll tutorial" this method is way to hard for a beginner

  • thanks man! ive watch all ur how to solve a rubki's cube - part 1 - 4

and i really learn, i just need to remember all what i learnt cause i always get 1 minute plus.. hope i can improve more!

    Subscribed! Like!

  • Wow man i wanna thank you for revealing to us watchers the solution of rubik's cube. Thanx to you i can finally solve the cube. (after 5 years LOL)

These series of video's have been a great help. Again.....Thank You!!!!

  • my problem is, that the edges and cornes on my cube are never in the position as on your cube. which is sad. the explanations in the first 3 videos are great but at the last layers there can be too many combinations of edges and corners =(

  • when you're towards the end, and you're trying to reorient the corners into their proper positions, what is the algorithm when you already have two corners in their proper places, but you need to switch the other two?

  • you talk way too fast and stumble over your words so its kinda hard to understand you. and you also do each step too fast

  • thank you, thank you, thank you. I looked at like 10 different tutorials but yours was by far the best one!!!!!!

I've been wanting to solve a cube for years. I will tell my friends

  • i just learn (not from you a different way ) and i get done within 35sec if you want me to post a vid on how i do it i can

  • that was easy

  • dude i dont know how i can thank u ur the best man thanks so much finaly i can do it

  • i wanna know the average iq of people who do it crazy fast like u. i dont consider myself smart but i want to do them that fast. do i ever have a chance?

  • you have to pretty much be a genius to do it that fast

  • I uploaded a video called "Rubik's Cube 3rd layer Problem" for you. I hope you see it and help me out. Thanks.

  • Thanks so much mate!!!!!!! I had to keep playing your videos to complete it but it worked!

  • wtf

    y cant i watch it!?

  • You help was and still so precious, thanks man, thanks a lot.

  • where did you get the silver stickers?i want them

  • My cube always messes up!

  • you rock me out!!!

  • man this sucks watch badmephisto's method way beta!

  • man i love u... i solved it..

  • does that have silver stickers?

  • DUDE U RULE !!!!

  • Wow, Dan Brown's plus yours made the trick!! Thx!!

  • Comment removed

  • OK....everything eles you thought us, 4 me, was easy 2 understand up until the last vid...... ;)

maybe i'm just a slow learner.....

  • same here.

  • Thanks to you i finished my Rubik's cube finally at 1:45 a.m. Go algorithm! =D

  • Thankyou for this video!!! :)

  • 100% agree

  • yeah i agree with you. he cant even speak

  • How do people get sub 40 with this method i mean i can get anywhere from 2 mins to 50 secs with this method with dan brown i avg 1:20?

  • your more used to the "dan brown" method. That's why. Whenever you learn a new method you will always be slower than you were than with your original method. With this method, I was able to get around or under a minute.

  • i've actually gotten sub-30 with this method on a few occasions.

  • Comment removed

  • @koolkid0201 i avg in 60 sec

  • @koolkid0201 I avg 120 on dan browns but I made my own algrithoms so I'm so damn fast now! and the 2nd layer you only have to do that algrithome on one peace becouse well I modded it

  • what if you if have 2 of a color that need to be shifted and they r in the same phase?

  • oh shit i did it, THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!

  • i dont even think your trying, my best is 40.12 and im using keyhole and normal method

  • thank u me i can do it in 3 minutes

  • well to tell you something gueese what your wrown someone cold of twist it a differnt way so like your wrwown ok get it

  • dude! How do you do it so fast? Is this the only way to solve it`?

  • No there is Dan Brown's method

  • This is the best solution i've seen

  • i solved it! thanks man, you're the best

  • you did it again, i now know how to solve a 3x3...your awesome

  • ø„¸¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨ post to 3 other vids

    ¨°º¤ø„¸ Copy „ø¤º°¨ press F5 twice

    ¸„ø¤º°¨Paste ``°º¤ø„¸ OK

    ¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º look at ur background

  • My cube matched the second cube, all 4 adges didn't match so I had to do the algorithm twice...

I just solved my first rubik's cube!

    Thanks a lot man :)

  • hey i dont get part 4 i get stuck with the corners.....how can u help me?

  • ok to solve the corners.. you gotta first get the middle top colours alined.. then you find a corner piece that has the same colours on the top front and right side. then you start rotations..U R U' L' U R' U' L

  • ...nothing happened

  • you didnt show us how to solve the middle corners on the top face

  • the first one worked but the seccond put a disine in my cube

  • at least now it's decorative...

  • you said r2 d2 out of star wars

  • rubik's cube = easy go try a rubik's professer

  • if yall cant understand then yall too dum and do the simple ways lamer

  • omg i reaallyy dont get the whole part 4.. wen he started his cube was different than att the end of part 3... really confusing with the matching and sht...-_-

  • lolol this was before his voice dropped :P

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Much more different then how i solve it... i do the corners last w/ right inverted down inverted right down

  • no offense this is not a good way to learn the cube. its too complicated

  • @poppasmurfy99 you're just stupid >.>

  • is it just me or are you confusing edges with corners ? all of the pieces are on the edge except for the center ones. and the corners are the ones witch have 3 colors on them...

  • 3:50 - 3:56 !!! WTF!!!!!!!!!

  • HAHAHA

  • this kinda sux. its sad to see u puzzle nerds. get off the com. and do sumthin active outside

  • r1, r2, triangle x, x, circle, x, triangle, square, square, r1, r3, square.

  • thx:D

  • Woah....i got it:D but dont remember so much:S

  • slow down boo

  • this. blows my mind

  • Dan Brown's explanation is waaaay less complicated..

  • Great tutorial man, thanks alot

  • Thanks this helped me twice now!

  • How To Solve a Rubik's Cube - Part 3. copy and paste it

  • ty so much dude, ur awesome

  • if you do this step in robs tutorial its easier.. then after you get his pretty good learn from thrawst

    thats how i did this

  • Sorry for double post...

Anyway, how would I fix only two corners switched, diagonally across the cube?

Or if anyone else knows how, feel free to reply to this answering me...

    Anyway, thanks, Thrawst!

  • Thanks!

I learned how to do this a different way and I wanted to learn this way so I wouldn't get corner parities on my 4x4 cube!

    ;)

  • i get llost on when u do the cross and get all the other stickers in an l shape in the 1st vid can u plz help me?

  • Message him. He doesn't really read comments.

  • thanks man your way is better than others and a friend of mine who does it with different algorythms

  • hey somehow i cant find ur part 3 xD

  • thx dude i solved it

  • thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much i fianlly solved the cube YES i am so happy its takes me like 1 minute to solve it yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

  • OMG!!!!!!!! I SOLVED IT!!!!!!

  • can you plz comment on my channel the invertions like "r2" and tell me what they are and i will suscribe to you if you help me ty 2008ng8

  • stop doing it that fast it makes me sad

  • thanx a lot dude..it works!!!!

  • wow! i solved it, lol... tried others but didn't work, yours is one cool guide, easy to follow... thankz!:P

  • that made no sense, but the revised version is better...i tried to redo it according to this vid like 5 time, and none worked:o

  • wow ty so much i finally did it ty!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Really good. i have salve it, im 13 years old and never tested rubiks kub before. THX! but i dont know if il remember the combinations.

  • dude you are very fast art solving it my record was 45 seconds but you did awesome too!!!!!!!

  • I'm an experienced Pogobatter, and this helped a lot tyvm

  • thrawst try this scramble in a video R2 L' D' U' R' B F L2 F' B' R' U'. THEN turn the cube on the opposite side

  • DUDE! that is f****** hell for the 2nd layer

  • omg i just finished mineee =D thx. awesome guide.

  • i am so jealous of that cube...

  • I find it confusing to follow when sentences such as "like if this goes there and stuff" is used.

  • the las algy for the cube in the middle that needs to go across i do this algy L 180 UI B FI L 180 BI F UI L 180

  • okay, i kno how to solve the cube but ive watched ur vids like 100 times but cant solve it ur way...

  • you lost me in the end. I am so close yet i still can't solve the cube

  • thank u mr im 5

and i kno how to do it

  • Thank you so much I finally figured it out and solved it!!!!! WAIT TILL I TELL ALL OF MY FRIENDS!!!

  • You can get the timer with a speed stacking cup combo pack thing :) thats were i recived mine

  • two things where do u get that timer i want it so bad! and also i think dan brown's method is faster u make it look faster cuz u put vasoline in cube and crazy fast hands

  • Hmm, beginner's method is generally quicker once you learn all the algorithms. Dan Brown's method is ALOT more simple because it has recurring patterns to learn. Which may need to be repeated an indefinite number of times. Whilst beginner's method (one Thrawst teaches) tries to incorporate Fridrich method, but in a much simpler way.

    =]

  • thank you......

  • Hey where did you get the timer thing

  • what if the white center piece is switched with the orange center piece and i can't solve it?

  • wow this helps for my problem. thanks i can solved it with my eyes closed

  • omg man thanks for this, it helps so much, this was my first time doing it and i understood you completely but the whole thing about rythmes is its to complicating lol. think im done solving it unless i come back and watch your videos again.

  • hey guy what do u use to get ur cube so easy to turn

  • they put vasaline inside of it

  • Depends on what you prefer. Some use silicone spray for lubrication; some use vasoline/petroleum jelly. I use silicone because it's more "Cube-friendly" and it doesn't wear away at the core of the cube. Unless you're not intending to maintain all mechanical integrity with the cube, then use vasoline -- quicker and cheaper =]

  • Another good lubricant for your cube is a spray called Jig-A-Loo. It works very well.

  • i finally got it this video is heaps easy to understand

    thanks thrawst

  • you're so damn nervous was this your first few videos?

  • where to we get silicon

  • This 4 video's were really great! Now I can solve the cube! But not yet without the formulars ;)

  • Thanks, it has really helped me solving the cube faster!

    Great video: * * * * *

  • why dont you just stop making mean comments, shut the hell up and watch the video. if you pay attention, you could learn a lot. its a lot better than pissing him off. this is how i learned to solve a rubiks cube. so if u dont like it, DON'T WATCH! Or do i need to draw a picture for you?

  • gahhh... I have the rubiks cube up till the very end. I don't get the corner thing very well. it makes no sence why it's going in this spot and why it's not going in that spot.

  • thanks for the help man i really managed to do it in 3 minutes in the first day!!!

    Good job !

  • i cant really get this i am confused

  • Umm,Is This Fridrich?

  • yes.

  • its only the basic verison of the Fridrich meethod

  • Umm, no. fridrich is the first 2 layers at the same time. this is the beginner method. and why does it matter? be thankful that he took the time to make this tutorial.

  • Oh. Its Fridrich, He Mixed it With some of the Beginners method to make it easy.. I thank for him for Making this Vid though.. i can Now Solve it in Sub 60 seconds below.

  • oh. sorry

  • well what if when you do the one at 57 seconds like you said put the 2 corners in the left corner postion then do the steps it doesnt solve it it just brings me to a thing where there is a blue and purple on the wrong sides directly across from eachother and there is another one like that on the other side what do i do

  • i have 3 pieces in the wrong place(like melane654) except mine are all on the top layer, each in the middle piece. IM CONFUSED

  • ive got three pieces in the wrong place.

2 on the secoind layer n 1 on the top layer.

ive got a green and white piece where the blue, white and orange goes, ive got a orange and green piece where the green and white goes and a blue and white piece where the orange and green goes.

is there any ways of getting them right without messing up the cube.

  • by far the best rubixs cube video on youtube, and thats saying something. your my hero.

  • what 4th altorigth? You only teach us three for the PLL.

  • um....teaches much better than pagobat thats 4 sure

  • wops thats just my moms comp horray!

  • nooo the last one but the video dosent show!!!

  • NOOOO...i got a diff thing!!! AHHH.

  • this method is so complicated, the one i use, i xan solve it in under a minute

  • I don't think it is difficult.

  • Yeah! I solved it! I'm am so happy! Thank you so much!

  • thx dog it all worked for me.

  • The R2 B2 R F Ri B2 R Fi R alogrithym doesnt solve the cube when the orientation of the corners are reverse ( u say "If its reverse of that this is to go there and stuff") it requires me to do it 3 times the same algorithym to solve the cube please help

  • is this the fastest method?

  • this method is sorta semi-intermediate. there is a method called the Fridrich method which is sorta an add-on to this method

  • lmfao

    thzz dude

  • I have a question if the corners are not opposites but next to each other, such as orange-white-red-yellow, what algorithm would you suggest?

  • i solved it

  • keep doing the corner switching one till it gets them to the right place

  • hey you didnt give my a algerithem i need. my cube only has the4 last layer i have all the middles done but all the corners are messed up

  • your videos are way better than pogobat or whatever his name is because you explain every kind of scenario there is thank you very much

  • w0000000000000000000000000000000t. Thanks man

  • Did you use one of the G-series algorithms when you solved the cube at the very end?
