Well according to Larry the reason he always "looks like [he]'s in excruciating pain" is because he doesn't feel he's a very good drummer and has to concentrate really hard to play right. Which I think is ridiculous because he's a very very good drummer. It is very hard being a drummer though. As a guitarist you can find yourself relying on the drummer to keep you in check and on time, so its an important job. BTW I ADORE the stick twirling at 0:07. I don't know why!
Yes, I said it. It is a joke my friends and I have. He always has this grimace on his face...like the "work" he's doing is so hard. I always give him shit when I see them live.

what a douche. He can loosen it himself if he doesn't like it. I've seen MANY pro drummers do it themselves. But I spose that's what you get with U2. Egotistical jerks who think they're the best thing to happen to earth.
A few turns of the top screw would loosen that easily. I don't know why he couldn't do it himself. I have seen Elvin Jones fix his drums while playing.

Yet he had time to stand there complaining, pointing, and doing nothing...hmmm

He can do it, but for love and peace..he has to preform on the mini stage, with a a 2 piece kit. He has no time.

Larry is complaining about the symbal tightness. The tech shouldn't have put on the top screw so tight, thats why your getting that sound.
