@mrsronw Bollywood is popular coz it appeals to the hindi/urdu speaking population, it's really got nothing to do with countries, the rest of the indian film industry e.g. tamil films are hardly popular in pakistan or elsewhere, btw i'm british born pakistani but yes i admit, bollywood has always been ahead of the game when it comes to film making

@mrsronw but Pakistan also made really good films and film songs which were extremely popular and are still remembered even today... e.g. Heer Ranjha, Dosti, Aaina, Society Girl just to name a few, but that was way back in the early 50s - late 70s, after that it just went downhill and now the industry is in a terrible state, bollywood on the other hand continued to do well, however these days i'm not too into it coz they've lost that classic indian touch in their films, which is a shame really
