I first thought he couldn't get paid $25k but after looking at the large places he plays, he really does seem to get that. When touring he plays between 3-11 dates a month, with an average of about 7-8 dates, so that means he's still getting paid over $2mil a year (when touring). He probably appreciated being asked to do this show - he probably enjoys his act meaning something more than just another night working. I don't know why he hasn't been showcased in films or tv more.
