If your macbook cant handle the hd video editing, dublicate your footage and make it SD with a lower resolution, edit that, and when the montage is done replace the SD footage with the HD in a new sequence and render that. Hope this made sense lol

when you editing a music video you edit off the sound not visual caue visual gonna stutter if you can line the video track up with the song you good and also you do amature stuff you do your cutting the hard way you can just use compositing and not have to do no cutting ....lol

It is NEVER important to be careful what you wish for. That is just silly. I've heard that my whole life and it disgusts me that people dispense this kind of advice, not having actually EVER tried the contrary. You obviously aren't very careful what you wish for, why tell other people to be? And "INTERNETTING" is nothing like meditating. One is inward and solitary, the other is basically being programmed by bullshit from a million different sources of bullshit.

the reason the video skips when you play it on FC is because you have too many videos stacked in the channels and it can't process them all. i had the same problem. once you are happy with the shot you want, delete the size of the clip on the clips both below and above the cut you are using and you wont have any problems with skipping in FC
