I loved 9 so much!! It brought back the feel of the early games. I know A LOT of people like FF8, but it didn't feel enough like FF to me. Yes, there were some cool ideas and a cool story and all, but 9 at core is was FF is all about. This should have come after 7.

everything about the commercial is dreamlike, the music, visuals shown.. when i 1st saw the commercial i was in awe. I had never played a final fantasy before. weeks later. a friend across the street had it. i watched him play a lil bit. then eventualy got the game myself. from the 1st time i saw this commercial, i never forgot it, nor the way it made me feel. and yearn for a dream.

@waterlemons46 Obviously... Every game shows their best work, as in Graphics, and so the Cut-Scenes were the only thing with notable graphics. It also appealed to many people, it was said to have the best graphics of any Final Fantasy game, that is, until FFX, then FFX-2, then FFXII, and now FFXIII.

one of my top three favorite games out of the main series, it goes:

9, 6 and 10 (all tied for first really), 8, 5, 12, 4, 1, 2, 12, 3, 7

Will more then likely never play 13 (dont have a ps3) and yes, 7 is last for me, found it a total bore fest, I like ONE place (the Gold Sauce) and like 4 characters (Zack, Hojo, Vincent, and Nanaki) and thats pretty much it out of the entire game.

Ive got this game at home and there a part in it where the screen goes black between cut scenes and i thought i broke the game so i kept restarting, and each time i got to the point i restarted, then i just botten mashed and i had to press x or somethin to contiue. grr i got anoyed.
