Kelly wrote the song, so she recorded it, but the boys (One Direction) must have heard it and bought it from her. Obviously, she sold it to them since it's on their album. This is probably just the demo to the song.

The only reason why Kelly's *original* version doesn't sound quitre as good as One Direction's *cover* is because this sounds like a demo... the general sound is quite flat, like it was leaked in mono and not stereo... In my eyes and ears Kelly Clarkson will always be better than One Direction!
