I am a huge fan of the man in black...my dad worked for him for a little while when he was a teen, and he tended to the horses and kept the stables. This was during Cash's time when he was addicted to uppers and downers, and he was a little paranoid, so he fired my dad since he had looked at Cash's daughter in a wrong way.
He never held it against him and still loved JOhnny Cash until the day he died last year.
I haven't heard him do this song before, and loved it.

Great song, but awful version. This is a time period when I feel Johnny just tried too hard. His recordings from this period are so commercial and un-original. The Madison Square Garden version is excellent compared to this one. Thanks for posting anyway!!!

I saw this record sitting on a shelf at an old second hand store in my town, i had never heard the song, but i knew it was good, so i bought it.
