@Baytrail why not? this is an amazing old tram here, many tourist said that everyone that visits the burgh should visit the incline. next time try to ride this it is a lot of fun and with very nice views
@georgef551 you think otis makes these? I thought its more of a trolley than elevator, it also had an elevator chime when it arrived at the top when we were waiting, it sounded like CE electronics or otis or something, next time I will have to try to record it. This is the oldest surviving incline left, and there is a slightly newer incline here from 1877, the Duquesne incline pronounced "duke-cane" which is on the North shore side, I will try it next time thyssenelevator95 filmed it
I'm not saying they're DEFINATELY Otis, but Otis also had his hands in trains, and brake systems, before his elevator buisness started, and continued to do so after.

Los Angesles has a similar trolly car system as well. A YouTube buddy of mine had them in one of his videos, but up and downward trips.
Otis indicators. Would not surprise me if these were Otis Trams.

@georgef551 If these were Otis and I maintained them, I would disable the brakes.. They do have safety buffers after all :)
