To the absolute morons who are like "ahhh yeah, Rizzle Kicks, yeah, ermm, yeah, aye, ermm aye they are better than the Clash" ...have you gone mad? You think that some cheap chart artist is better than THE CLASH, are you actually for real?! "Rizzle Kicks" completely ripped off this song. This is truth. The Clash did reggae better than most when they were doing it. Even better than many of the originators. Disagree if you want, but this reggae fan of 45 years, knows what is truth.
@IAMTHEMONSTERMASH It's not a different version, that would mean they have the same lyrics, and it doesn't , They just used sampling. This is the original, and it's a classic, rizzle kicks couldn't write their own music so turned to possibly of of the most revolutionary amazing bands in history for help.
I think you're heartless to put "I don't like" at this song, if you do not like the music at least appreciated the writer, a wonderful person who gave us everything he could and died tragically at the age of 50 years ...
@youtubbs67 because theyre idiots, most of those people didnt like London Calling and how they became more than a punk band. I had seen them multiple times in So Cal where I'm from, including once at the Santa Monica Civic which to this day remains the single loudest concert I've ever attended. I remember this total hardcore punker sitting on the stairs in the aisle covering his ears, musta gotten too close to the stage. Good times haha:)
@homebrew95 Awesome!!! Only got to see Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, but saw em' like 6 times which was great. Once at the Troubadour and talked to Johnny Ramone who was at the gig upstairs at a table sitting with some friends. I opened for the Ramones with my punk band the Giant Burritos in San Diego way back in 88' and told Johnny about it, he was cool and said he remembered that gig, but shit, he was probably just maybe being nice cause they played thousands of gigs.

@laume975 Translation? Yes yes yes, I know I know I know! I copied and pasted the lyrics from a website (see the video description), which at the time was the only to feature the full lyrics. They are "all in one line" so I had to add many spaces to fit the lyrics perfectly. I had to spend a lot of hours of work and it was really hard because the more I was adding spaces to the 1st half, the more they were not fitting in the 2nd part and vice versa! I'm sorry for that.

I'm pilled up and rattling at the moment lol. The Clash are the most inspiring band ever, though i'm more into Babyshambles at the moment no one, with any brains (not even pete doherty) could even sugest they were better than the Clash! I love you Joe! R.I.R 'n' R! (rest in rock n roll!
