Pecking order in the military:
1. Law-abiding, hard working soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines.
2. Murders.
3. Rapists.
4. Pedophiles.
5. Clinton Generals (Eaton, Clark, Batiste, etc.)
You can't get any lower than a Clinton General.

Did Webb just out himself as a communist? Someone should tell the democrats the the US is a free market economy and that is what made the country strong.
The war in Iraq is not "necessary"? I suggest mr. Webb read the bible. The war is clearly foreseen, it is a war God wants to fight, read revelations, and by trying to get the troops home, Webb is turning his back to God.

No, he outed himself as a populist. The Bible is not a good basis for foreign policy (or health, humanitarian, environmental, or scientific policies for that matter.)

Billions will, after all, even the most religious amongst us. How arrogant of us to think we know everything there is to know from 1 vague book in the bible. Bush according to you, may as well be the anti-Christ.

Turning his back on God? Does it not say in the book you speak of, Revelations, that BILLIONS of people would be deceived by the anti-Christ? Exactly where is that happening at? America, that's where. And doesn't the anti-Christ bring world peace through war much like Bush is trying to do? How arrogant of us to think we are on the winning side of anything, when we should be worried about going straight to hell for being so ill natured towards other humans.

I agree that being ill-natured toward other people can cause problems, but since when did we establish that Christian scriptures are the yardstick by which to measure the success of U.S. politics?

Thank you for a great and honest response. Referring to Roosevelt and Eisenhower was very good-- it probably enlightened some people who were not aware that the Republican party was once very different. A suggestion to reach more people: Put more tags on your videos, example: senator (space) jim (space) webb so people can search and find these videos more easily!
