  • The only film I love Barbra Streisand in. Not a fan of her Movies. Since the title of the movie is "What's up Doc?" This Drug store scene where she stands and sees him then everywhere he looks in the drugstore and her antics remind me of how Bugs Bunny acted.. LOL

  • i love this. and at this very moment am realizing there would be no "what's up doc" without "bringing up baby."

  • image paying $67.45 for a simple radio, and this is in the early 70's we forget how expensive electronics use to be.

  • this movie is HILARIOUS !

Babs did a STELLAR job in this , hysterical ! :-)

  • You call this a honeymoon?!

  • "forget you even know my name!" "i DON'T know you're name"

  • oh come on steve buy her the radio its on sale lmfao

  • how much is it without buffering?

  • I love this movie!!

  • $68.29 lmfao

  • Streisand is Bugs Bunny. It's great.

  • I can't believe a clock-radio cost that much in 1972! Wonderful movie, by the way.

  • so funny and very cute

  • Could you let go of my hand? I don't think so...lol

  • Oh...i WISH you'd let it run a couple mins longer...with Eunice at the top of the escalator!!This a wikkid flick an Babz is tha BOOM in it too!!

  • "He suffers from a nervous condition, he falls down a lot..."

"I don't want people falling down in here!"

    "Well, we're on our honeymoon..."

    Classic! :0)

  • in the uk its been ages since its been on tv

  • would you quit kidding around steve? lol

  • This film is so good that it's impossible to imagine a remake of it. (Shudder!)

  • @coralarch Have you ever seen "Bringing up Baby"? Well, "What's up Doc" is loosley, loosley based on that movie. I agree with you on remaking this movie exactly, but just like Bringing up Baby, you could use the same formula: Nerdy guy+crazy girl+weird situation=slapstick comedy.

  • @7tosha9 Thanks! No, have not seen that one- but it rings a bell. Was Katharine Hepburn in it? You know what I find unbelievable? Barbra Streisand hates this film and doesn't think it's funny, yet she's utterly brilliant as Judy Maxwell. In fact,. the entire cast is perfect!. I agree about the formula- but it takes an extremely gifted director to bring this sort of looniness to high art.

  • @coralarch I saw the making of with her comments and I was surprised to find that she hardly even remebers a movie with so many fans.

  • @allbrazilian Is that right- she doesn't remember her own films? Wow!

  • @coralarch it's more like she dismisses it as something minor or way too far in the past. Movies never age, and this one was anything but minor... Ryan had just became the world's sweetheart, I think it's his first movie after Love Story.

  • @allbrazilian I think you're right. This moveie is indeed ageless. Ryan was in the TV series "Peyton Place", but as far as I know, his first film was "Love Story". Did you see him in "Barry Lyndon"?

  • "I forgot why I came in here..." He loves her =]

  • Me too, until I remembered that shes old enough to be my grandmother.

  • she is suppose to be bugs bunny, he is suppose to be elmer fudd.

  • i have met guys like Ryan O'neal's character and believe me some nerds are very very sexy cos they have that innocent quality.

  • I've never met a nerd that looks like Ryan O'Neal!!!!

  • DITTO!

  • what do you think i am a pice of ripe fruit that you squezze the juice out of and cast a side.

  • lmao she really has this thing for rippin his clothes off or managing to get him to strip. lol

  • Just saw this film and I love it. Couldn't keep my eyes of Barbra, she is phenomenal acting in this! I love her character and her timing and lines are terrific! This has become one of my favourite films...

  • Is this the kind with bufferin

    Taht's right

How much do I owe you?

    $68.29

I beg your pardon....Well how much is it without bufferin?

By FAR the funniest line in this movie. That one interplay is a comedy mastermind.

  • yeah i love that scene....do they have it without bufferin?? classic! LOL

  • dont you know the meaning of propriety?

    propriety? see noun,

  • god, I've not seen this in years!

  • Adorable. I love this film.
