  • booooooo

  • Wow. Nice interpretation of the N'awlins classic. Lynne Arriale puts great chords and feel on this tune. good one!

  • cool substitutions!

  • Incredible song, incredible version. Touches that special place.

  • ...what a great time in our lives where we can listen 2 this classic song performed by Sooooooo many different artistz --- one vid after another, after another,after.......

  • Interesting version. Iko Iko has an amazing - mostly misunderstood - history.

I have a pretty complete history of it in the description of my video of people trying to sing Iko at this year's Mardi Gras Indian celebration in New Orleans (where the song originated as a folk song almost two hundred years ago!)

  • Lynne Arriale tries very hard to keep jazz current. Sometimes she misses. She's still a GREAT jazz artist. Listen to other clips. Also, make sure you understand what jazz is about or you won't understand.

  • nice interpritation of a classic

  • On the blind note, Mr Tatum would eat her.

....and this is quite boring IMHO

  • omfg this is the boringest shit ever on youtube! i came here to listen to some grandma's sitting by the fire and i get this piece of shit..

  • Damnit I wrote that before watching the video, I feel like an ass now. =(

  • omg is she blind if so..such talent

  • Because everyone knows its so much harder to SING blind. -.-

  • Pop?

  • Lynne and her trio are a class act and very nice and down to earth people. I would recommend a night listening to them or buying their cd's to often enjoy!

  • Very nice!

  • Amazing. Thanks for posting, what a marvellous rendition. Two thumbs up.

  • My favorite instrumental version of Iko Iko. The whole DVD is incredible. What a well kept secret you are. I tell myself I'll just pop the DVD in and listen to Iko Iko and Mountain of the Night, but always watch start to finish.

  • Interesting take on a pop song!
