@Imrez Not really... of course, the blasts aren't amazing loudly but bear in mind the intro of the song is 300 bpm and the rest after it is 270. Nobody is going to be able to play that fast, even with awesome finger control, and still have it be particularly loud.

@allmetaliswelcome what defines a "metal" sound? it all comes down to drummer preference and how they want their drums to sound. I've seen metal drummers using tunings from really high with a lot of resonance to very low with no resonance. it's all preference.
