She Was Gonna Be Put Down Because She'd Been Waiting For 3-4 Months For An Owner. There's a small problem: this video works on people who never could let their dog in a shelter (or on the border of a lonely road); who can abandone his dog, can do it because the videos like this don't touch them.

OMG I cried when I saw this and it takes ALOT to make me cry! T_T I feel so horrible because I'm a 12 year old boy and when I was about 5 or 6 I lived in a house that was pratically collapsing and it broke my heart because the only place where we could afford didn't allow pets and we had a beutiful loyal gre perinese(SP?) and we had to let him go! OMG I FEEL SO HORRIBLE NOW! I WOULDn'T BE ABLE TO LIVE IF I HEARD THAT MY DEAR CHARILE WAS MURDERED! T_T!

I can't stop the tears from pouring down my face. People out there are heartless and don't care about animals feelings. Dogs are best friends to everyone and they are loveable creatures. I wouldn't put down a animal for no reason what so ever like come on how heartless can people get?

It's truly sad but you should think also of how people feel when they have no choice but to give up their pets, I for one have been looking for a place in my price range that allows pets because I love my dog but sometimes there is not much you can do. The dogs quality of life is what matters, no need to be cramped in some tiny apartment because you can't find a bigger place and have to work more.

Actually, a dog would live in a cardboard box to be with his master. I have lived in an apartment on many occasions with a Lab, poodle, pitbull (not at the same time) but throughout my life. Dogs are happy as long as they are treated with respect, love and plenty of attention.

This is the exact reason I adopted a dog from the shelter a month ago. A big, Beautiful and healthy Rottie. His family had abandoned him because their house went into foreclosure. They told the neighbors they would be back for him. They never did.

My heart goes out to all those dogs that are not that lucky. I would adopt all of them if I could.

So true, have seen it so many times but at least we have no kill-shelters here in Germany and so the dogs are sitting here for years. I know one stafford girls who is waiting at the shelter since 2001. She is so cute but nobody wants her. That´s so sad....

When landlords for renters say "no pets" but kids are welcome. They're TOTALLY MENTAL. maybe a dog shits in someones yard, but kids do far worse things than animals could ever do. I'm glad I'm in a pet friendly, ADULT ONLY complex.

I freakin LOATHE people who are willing to give up on a family pet just because they have to move away. people should take the time to look around for pet friendly homes before they decide on moving. What an awesome video for the idiots that do this. I got a cat when he was 7 weeks old. When I decided to move away from my city, my parents searched for 3 months in their city trying to find me place that would allow my cat. I would not let him go. He is my life.

I now own my own home, still have him and he's 11yrs old now.

Wow, what a great video, and the song fits the words perfectly. I have a lump in my throat. Poor doggies whose owners are so selfish. I wouldn't give up my dog for anything or anyone. As this poem says, what are we teaching our children? My dog, who happens to be a beautiful pit bull, is asleep on the couch, snoring away. I need to go hug her...
