Set the game to Unreal difficulty, open map NaliC (your now by nali castle) use "Fly" cheat to fly to a high point on the castle, land (not turn of fly) write "Summon WarLord" he will appear infront of you then take off, turn on this music use a sucky gun and prepare for a epic air battle lol at least i thought it was way more epic than lava cave, to fly around the nali castle while shooting at the warlord flying after you shootin back, its pretty epic, a boss battle in the air above a castle.

I never understood why that warlord dude was there in that lava cave. He just totally came out of nowhere, no background info, no nothing. So random of a boss fight.

there was a animation at the very start of the game when you leave vortex and cross the scarr it left behind itself in the ground when crashing.

The animation showed that warlord from the cave kicking and beating to pulp dead body of vortex crewman. as you aproached the warlord flew away and shot a rocket at you disapearing into the distance. Thats why hes a boss.

However that animation was cut out from the retail game. thus without knowing it existed the boss may apear somwehat random.

Actually, there are references to "the winged Sky Demon" if you check the cells at the castle's dungeon.

@Gunner193 Also there is a book on the level "Mountain Fortress" that says something like the kralls are going to give the equipment stoled from the ISV-Kran to the Warlord...the book its passing the wood bridge near of the beginning of the level where the kralls are playing dice.

And i´m not sure but i think there´s another reference on the level of the "Temple of Chizra"

@Juicio87 Yes, the Krall's point is correct. But the Chizra texts talk about the Skaarj in general, without a single mention of wings.

yeah it plays during the warlord battle in the mothership core, but it also plays in the level after the nali castle in a dungeon full of lava and all u do is fight the warlord....

@toobles3 You defeat Warlord in his cave, but you don't kill him, he simply teleports out, and then you meet him again in the mothership core.
