Need Coal? If you are following along with Paul and have put your Chicken farm in the same place go there! Look for a hole to head in that place is a coal mine! There is hundreds of pieces in there! Might be different if you have generated the map with a different version to me! (I used 1.1 too generate the map!!!)

if yu dont know you can warm with lava bucket. It can warm more the coal but probally takes the bucket

hey i just finished this project, i built a water moat around my house with a current going outward so if any mobs decide to try and attack my house, they water current will hold them back, but i was thinking of making a lava moat....

Yes they're called iron bars and they are built the same way as fences but instead of sticks it's iron ingots and you get 16 iron bars. But they act more like glass panes than fences in the sense that they count as one block and you cam jump on them, unlike fences which count as one and a half bricks. Hope I've been helpful
