Also, some of the "horrible" transitions you pointed out were used, skillfully, in the original trilogy, such as the side-wipe-fade and the diamond fade, as well as the basic dissolve. Some of these are very similar to these so i didn't get as pissed about them, but Blinds and Squares? Come on now, Mr. Lucas, you have more money than that

You know, I've been watching Star Wars for I don't know how long, but I can honestly say the transitions have never bothered or phased me. After a time I get so absorbed into the films that I barely realize they occur. And so what if he used transitions? I'd preffer that to just cutting from scene to scene in a film. I give lots of credit to George, he made over 50 BILLION off of Star Wars. Long live the Saga!

OK.. I stopped watching this because I couldn't stand the stupid noises you added in EVERY TIME a transition took place. It was annoying. And give Lucas respect. He's done a lot more with his life than you have.

All Star Wars movies have those transitions. In fact is a homage to Kurosawa´s samurai movies and old serials like Flash Gordon.

The transitions are intentionally "corny," if you will. Lucas was trying to match the "Saturday Matinee Fantasies" of the 1930s and they used stylized transition types like these. And he used the same transition types in the 1977-1983 trilogy, too, so I don't see why they are particularly "bad" in the 2005 movie. If they're bad once, they must be bad all the time, right? I think your logic is off-base if you think they're bad in Episode III, but OK in all other episodes.

If you say that this one sucked, then you have to say that ALL the other ones sucked aswell. I make incredibly stupid videos that can seem sad to some people.
