How about instead of 18 Ne6, 18 Nfd7 with the idea of 19 Nb3 to open up some lines towards the king? Is that viable? Because if then 20 axb, axb, Black threatens Qa5, dominating the a file, with the dark squared bishop pressurizing the f8-a3 diagonal
you left white with so little counterplay. I thought your king side pawns were going to break through, but never did. I think you saw winning end-game and made the right decision.
