  • There's no emotional investment while watching another player's game- so yes of course we can see better than if we are playing. This is a key psychological aspect of human chess. When we are playing, we feel fear, triumph, excitement, and these emotions can get in the way of correctly evaluating a position and tactics.

  • How about instead of 18 Ne6, 18 Nfd7 with the idea of 19 Nb3 to open up some lines towards the king? Is that viable? Because if then 20 axb, axb, Black threatens Qa5, dominating the a file, with the dark squared bishop pressurizing the f8-a3 diagonal

  • are you a IM? or a gm? cause ur a freaking beast

  • you left white with so little counterplay. I thought your king side pawns were going to break through, but never did. I think you saw winning end-game and made the right decision.

  • Great game

  • More and more I am calling out your moves before you make them.

Interestingly enough, I still suck and cant see my own games nearly as clear as I can see other peoples'.

  • I have the same thing, unfortunately...maybe we lack the skill to build up correct I dont know

  • that's because everyone has a GM rating by default in spectator mode.

  • ha ha I always knew I was a GM!
