visibility on the surface of Venus would be short sighted and very unusual because of the extreme heat and supercritical state of the atmosphere.

Well, the surface certainly consists of flat, slab-like volcanic rocks. The air (if you want to call it that) is very thick, however, and should be more refractive than portrayed here.

The sky is probably a bit more yellowish-orange.

Still, a decent 3D sim. I'm impressed!
