In the beginning of the episode, she straight up lied to his face about not sleeping with Piz. I find that ironic because Logan has been the most honest between the two of the them in their relationship, even telling her about his fling with Madison.

@BTeamNerd I find it hard to believe that it's not a sex video, since a lot off sources including thewb.com where VM episodes are shown refer to it as a "sex video". Call it a "fooling around" video-- sure, but a sex video implies to the viewer that Veronica and Piz did the deed.

Logan and Veronica are perfect together, can make us laugh, cry, everything. I'm a fan of this series and I was sad when it was canceled, if there was a book about Veronica Mars, telling the story to the end, I would buy for sure.

I didn't like Logan at first in season one.I thought he was a douche but he grew my respect in season 3.I truly wish they could have made another season to tied loose ends.

Did anyone notice the series came in a full circle? Pilot scene, after Weevil beat up Logan, he said "Do you want to hear your friend apologize?" And Veronica says she doesn't want his apology. Same thing here, but instead of antagonizing her, Logan is defending her. I feel like it symbolizes the turn their relationship takes.
I love this look. Obviously, they aren't over, and they will never be over.

You know, I love how Logan knows Veronica can look after herself because he's not always diving in front of her in conflict, but he still has enough of a 'hero' complex that he's not going to let someone walk away without a fight if they're bothering her. He's not all 'I'm a macho, testosterone fueled Alpha-male!', but also he's not all 'I'm a pacifist so I'll leave the conflict to her and just glare at this guy sternly. Might even narrow my eyes, who knows?' He's awesome. And funny.
@willkillyoulast I completely agree! And Logan is exactly the type of guy she needs. Duncan & Piz were waaaay to passive for her. She needs someone sho will stand his ground with her and her dad. We all know she would walk all over Piz' timid behind.

She's not heading where he is and her life is bound to have things he can't handle...but Logan can, and he's always just accepted the level of weird she brings ha ha. Duncan was to proud, Piz is too timid, but Logan is just right for her. WHY did they end it like this? They should at least have gotten back together.
I just wanted to point out that in Season 1 (pilot, I think) Weevil is beating up Logan & telling him to apologize to V for breaking her headlights, but she doesn't want his apology. And then the last LoVe scene of the show, Logan is wailing on this dude & tells him to apologize to V...and again she says she doesn't want his apology. Just thought I'd point that out.
I thought this was a fantastic ending....I think the look between them was the first step towards finding their way back to each other again. It's in that moment that they both realize that they kinda need each other. what they have...nothing...not Duncan, Hannah, Piz or Parker could come in between that. It's like Logan said....Epic.....
This makes me so sad that this was the end of the series. The whole way the episode ended left SO much to be desired. I understand they didn't anticipate the series coming to an end but I agree whole-heartedly about the fact that they should have reshot the end to add closure to the characters and the story lines. It angers me so much to have such an AMAZING show have such a crappy ending :(
@ashley18kirsten Are you joking? Her dad almost certainly lost the election. Because he sacrificed his career to protect Veronica. And Logan put his life on the line to defend her honor. She realizes, Piz realizes, Veronica loves Logan. They might never end up together. But they'll always be in love. It was an absolutely perfect ending. Season 3 was up and down. But they nailed the ending.
Maybe it's just me being pessimistic, but I don't think the look meant they would get back together. More that, Logan would always feel something for Veronica, but Veronica isn't the type to give someone a 4th chance...so the look meant a forgiveness being accepted. She would forgive him.
Damn, I wish I wasn't just a downer. =( I wish Rob Thomas actually incorporated something to make it less vague.

Knowing that the Logan & Veronica pairing had/has the biggest fanbase in this series also points towards them being together if VM had another seasom or make a movie. Fanbases don't say anything. OTH-Brucas had a huge fanbase...look where that got them. Cole/Phoebe in Charmed had a huge fanbase, that too lead to disaster. I LOVE Logan/Veronica, with all my heart. I just wish it was a little less vague.
@sherulzz As for OTH, I'm happy the way it turned out as I'm a Leyton fan... and it's impossible to say that Brucas had the bigger fanbase because not all viewers go online and talk about the show... whereas Logan and Veronica's pairing had no real competition. Rob Thomas basically said that it all came down to them in the end. "At the end of the day, you can't compete with what's going on between the two of them."
When they found out about the cut down on episodes they should have refilmed the last ones. Those last two that were left out really could have turned things around for this season, instead of ending the entire series in a crappy place.

I don't get why people feel hard done by with LoVe in this scene. They did get back together, I'd say about 4 days after this scene. It's so obvious. Even Rob Thomas said it. They just didn't get the chance to film it but come on, look at how she looks at him and then how she looks at Piz. It's a done deal. No-one could come between Logan & Veronica.
Rob Thomas at the end of season 3 DVD says it was always Logan & Veronica. But that look she gave him says it all. She wanted to run to Logan after what he did for her. The way piz and Veronica looked at each other. It was the need to talk break up look they gave each other. Sometimes non verbal communication is the strongest way of showing your emotions.
U can so tell in that scene that all the feeling for Logan came back. I like how in the earlier scene when she's with piz and she wants to get back at that guy that's making fun of her but piz stops her. But in this scene logan does exactly what she would of done and sticks up for her. U know her and piz were on break up bound after he saw the look she gave him. What a great show.

when the finale first aired, i didn't like this scene because it was too open-ended, but in the years since i've grown to love it, because its so obvious veronica and logan will get back together, just by their facial expressions towards each other. even piz can tell. im still praying for the movie...veronica mars was and always will be my favorite show.
I hated this episode...i felt like Veronica lost. Not the way to end a series! I didnt watch the show when it was on tv, but I jus finished season 3 on hulu. She always brought the guilty people down completely. It ends with her dad in jail & i dont feel like Logan beating up the guy was the best revenge. So the guys got a couple of bruises..not good enough. Ugh, so disappointed =/

Have become huge fan in just the last month. Love the stuff with l and v at the end. Also rob pretty much says in the bonus features that the intention on that last scene was for piz to realize she would never feel the way she felt in that one look about him. Keeping my fingers crossed for a movie.
Just one more comment. This scene perfectly bookended the Veronica and Logan story through season 3. Remember the pilot episode when Weevil kicked Logan's butt then told him to apologize to Veronica? And she said she didn't want his apology? This scene brought the story full circle. The whole episode was genius.
I agree that this wasn't quite the ending I hoped for, but I think Veronica telling Logan, "It's gonna take some time, this time," very much implies she does want to get back together. "This time," meaning in relation to all the other times they've broken up and gotten back together. So I think them getting back together is inevitable:)

@DreamCatcher345 Did you watch the episode? The looks Veronica and Piz exchange at the end? Veronica loves Logan, and she knows it. They'll end up together, no matter how rocky the road getting there. If you were paying attention, you'd understand. The ending was perfect. The simply, lazy "I love you, Logan! Be my boyfriend" ending wouldn't have had near the emotional impact. And none of the poetry. Season 3 was up and down. But the finale was PERFECT.

@DreamCatcher345 People who are "upset" at the ending probably don't get it. Thomas made a clear point that is much more satisfying in the story than "Oh, Logan -- I love you." Veronica and Logan are star-crossed lovers. It'll never be easy for them. But they clearly love each other. Always will. Piz sees it. The ending is PERFECT. The ending that would have pleased the masses wouldn't have been nearly as good. It's the difference between good story telling and pandering.
@SMonkey100 PS: Dreamcatcher. Not trying to bust your chops or anything here. I was just shocked to see VM fans having this attitude about the finale. To me, it was as great a ending as the pilot was a beginning. I wouldn't change a single thing about it. It was a perfect ending that fit with the larger story. That's why my reaction is so strong here. Hope I didn't come off like an a-hole or anything.

It's sucks that they didn't make a movie cause I think those two really would have ended up together had there been one. I mean, the producers of the show even said, "there will always be Logan and Veronica" so, a movie would have been perfect.

@darkasthesky I think they should have ended the show, several seasons down the road of course, with Veronica and Logan getting married. The first words Veronica says in the Pilot are "I'm never getting married. You want an absolute; well there it is" or something to that effect. I always thought it would be cute for the series to end proving her wrong and getting her and Logan together for good. :)

No matter how rocky the road, Logan will always be the only one Veronica loves. Great ending. Season 3 wasn't always great. But the final episode was as good as any the series put out. Rob Thomas is a great story teller. And he nailed this one. Not only with V & L, but the whole business with Veronica and her dad. PERFECTION.

im a piz and veronica fan...im happy it ended like this...them together because i have a feeeling that if it didnt end the SHOW would have some how ended up with VERONICA and LOGAN ENDING UP TOGETHER AGAIN.
It definitely would have, because in season 3 commentary the creator said "it was always going to be Logan and Veronica", and Piz's actor was given directions to make facial expressions that were supposed to convey that he knew Veronica still had strong feelings for Logan.
So the last scene really isn't supposed to be "Oh, well she's with Piz, too bad Logan."
Which makes me happy. I can't stand Piz x Veronica, although I don't really dislike Piz as a character.

And while I'm at it, Duncan always hated seeing V get hurt. Wheather it was caused by him or some jerk, he hated it. Remember the whole 'Last night was a blur' thing?! He actually looked like it physically hurt him when she walked away. With Beaver too. Clearly this is down to the acting skills of Kristen Bell and whatever legend plays Logan. They've brought to us Logan and V. Damn cw. Reaper and V Mars, RIP. LONG LIVE LoVe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What the network should have done - what any normal network WOULD have done - was allow the writers a fourth series to wrap it up with. When I say wrap it up, I clearly mean get this Piz guy OFF THE SHOW and V an Logan together. As it should be. And if they'd do a movie, why not just a made-for-tv movie so the fans can watch it and the non-believers can watch bloody how i met your mammy. They did this to Reaper, too. All the good shows are being tossed aside. We'll miss ya, V. Ya ledge.

Did anyone notice the series came in a full circle? Pilot scene, after Weevil beat up Logan, he said "Do you want to hear your friend apologize?" And Veronica says she doesn't want his apology. Same thing here, but instead of antagonizing her, Logan is defending her. I feel like it symbolizes the turn their relationship takes.
I love this look. Obviously, they aren't over, and they will never be over.

You know, I love how Logan knows Veronica can look after herself because he's not always diving in front of her in conflict, but he still has enough of a 'hero' complex that he's not going to let someone walk away without a fight if they're bothering her. He's not all 'I'm a macho, testosterone fueled Alpha-male!', but also he's not all 'I'm a pacifist so I'll leave the conflict to her and just glare at this guy sternly. Might even narrow my eyes, who knows?' He's awesome. And funny.

I just wanted to point out that in Season 1 (pilot, I think) Weevil is beating up Logan & telling him to apologize to V for breaking her headlights, but she doesn't want his apology. And then the last LoVe scene of the show, Logan is wailing on this dude & tells him to apologize to V...and again she says she doesn't want his apology. Just thought I'd point that out.

I thought this was a fantastic ending....I think the look between them was the first step towards finding their way back to each other again. It's in that moment that they both realize that they kinda need each other. what they have...nothing...not Duncan, Hannah, Piz or Parker could come in between that. It's like Logan said....Epic.....

This makes me so sad that this was the end of the series. The whole way the episode ended left SO much to be desired. I understand they didn't anticipate the series coming to an end but I agree whole-heartedly about the fact that they should have reshot the end to add closure to the characters and the story lines. It angers me so much to have such an AMAZING show have such a crappy ending :(

She realizes, Piz realizes, Veronica loves Logan. They might never end up together. But they'll always be in love. It was an absolutely perfect ending. Season 3 was up and down. But they nailed the ending.

Maybe it's just me being pessimistic, but I don't think the look meant they would get back together. More that, Logan would always feel something for Veronica, but Veronica isn't the type to give someone a 4th chance...so the look meant a forgiveness being accepted. She would forgive him.
Damn, I wish I wasn't just a downer. =( I wish Rob Thomas actually incorporated something to make it less vague.

Knowing that the Logan & Veronica pairing had/has the biggest fanbase in this series also points towards them being together if VM had another seasom or make a movie. Actually, a tweet that Warner Brothers sent out actually kind of referenced them.

Fanbases don't say anything. OTH-Brucas had a huge fanbase...look where that got them. Cole/Phoebe in Charmed had a huge fanbase, that too lead to disaster. I LOVE Logan/Veronica, with all my heart. I just wish it was a little less vague.

@sherulzz As for OTH, I'm happy the way it turned out as I'm a Leyton fan... and it's impossible to say that Brucas had the bigger fanbase because not all viewers go online and talk about the show... whereas Logan and Veronica's pairing had no real competition. Rob Thomas basically said that it all came down to them in the end. "At the end of the day, you can't compete with what's going on between the two of them."

When they found out about the cut down on episodes they should have refilmed the last ones. Those last two that were left out really could have turned things around for this season, instead of ending the entire series in a crappy place.

I don't get why people feel hard done by with LoVe in this scene. They did get back together, I'd say about 4 days after this scene. It's so obvious. Even Rob Thomas said it. They just didn't get the chance to film it but come on, look at how she looks at him and then how she looks at Piz. It's a done deal. No-one could come between Logan & Veronica.

Rob Thomas at the end of season 3 DVD says it was always Logan & Veronica. But that look she gave him says it all. She wanted to run to Logan after what he did for her. The way piz and Veronica looked at each other. It was the need to talk break up look they gave each other. Sometimes non verbal communication is the strongest way of showing your emotions.

U can so tell in that scene that all the feeling for Logan came back. I like how in the earlier scene when she's with piz and she wants to get back at that guy that's making fun of her but piz stops her. But in this scene logan does exactly what she would of done and sticks up for her. U know her and piz were on break up bound after he saw the look she gave him. What a great show.

when the finale first aired, i didn't like this scene because it was too open-ended, but in the years since i've grown to love it, because its so obvious veronica and logan will get back together, just by their facial expressions towards each other. even piz can tell. im still praying for the movie...veronica mars was and always will be my favorite show.

I hated this episode...i felt like Veronica lost. Not the way to end a series! I didnt watch the show when it was on tv, but I jus finished season 3 on hulu. She always brought the guilty people down completely. It ends with her dad in jail & i dont feel like Logan beating up the guy was the best revenge. So the guys got a couple of bruises..not good enough. Ugh, so disappointed =/

Have become huge fan in just the last month. Love the stuff with l and v at the end. Also rob pretty much says in the bonus features that the intention on that last scene was for piz to realize she would never feel the way she felt in that one look about him. Keeping my fingers crossed for a movie.

Just one more comment. This scene perfectly bookended the Veronica and Logan story through season 3. Remember the pilot episode when Weevil kicked Logan's butt then told him to apologize to Veronica? And she said she didn't want his apology? This scene brought the story full circle. The whole episode was genius.

I agree that this wasn't quite the ending I hoped for, but I think Veronica telling Logan, "It's gonna take some time, this time," very much implies she does want to get back together. "This time," meaning in relation to all the other times they've broken up and gotten back together. So I think them getting back together is inevitable:)

@DreamCatcher345 Did you watch the episode? The looks Veronica and Piz exchange at the end? Veronica loves Logan, and she knows it. They'll end up together, no matter how rocky the road getting there. If you were paying attention, you'd understand. The ending was perfect. The simply, lazy "I love you, Logan! Be my boyfriend" ending wouldn't have had near the emotional impact. And none of the poetry. Season 3 was up and down. But the finale was PERFECT.

@DreamCatcher345 People who are "upset" at the ending probably don't get it. Thomas made a clear point that is much more satisfying in the story than "Oh, Logan -- I love you." Veronica and Logan are star-crossed lovers. It'll never be easy for them. But they clearly love each other. Always will. Piz sees it. The ending is PERFECT. The ending that would have pleased the masses wouldn't have been nearly as good. It's the difference between good story telling and pandering.

To me, it was as great a ending as the pilot was a beginning. I wouldn't change a single thing about it. It was a perfect ending that fit with the larger story. That's why my reaction is so strong here. Hope I didn't come off like an a-hole or anything.

@darkasthesky I think they should have ended the show, several seasons down the road of course, with Veronica and Logan getting married. The first words Veronica says in the Pilot are "I'm never getting married. You want an absolute; well there it is" or something to that effect. I always thought it would be cute for the series to end proving her wrong and getting her and Logan together for good. :)

No matter how rocky the road, Logan will always be the only one Veronica loves. Great ending. Season 3 wasn't always great. But the final episode was as good as any the series put out. Rob Thomas is a great story teller. And he nailed this one. Not only with V & L, but the whole business with Veronica and her dad. PERFECTION.

It definitely would have, because in season 3 commentary the creator said "it was always going to be Logan and Veronica", and Piz's actor was given directions to make facial expressions that were supposed to convey that he knew Veronica still had strong feelings for Logan.
So the last scene really isn't supposed to be "Oh, well she's with Piz, too bad Logan."
Which makes me happy. I can't stand Piz x Veronica, although I don't really dislike Piz as a character.

And while I'm at it, Duncan always hated seeing V get hurt. Wheather it was caused by him or some jerk, he hated it. Remember the whole 'Last night was a blur' thing?! He actually looked like it physically hurt him when she walked away. With Beaver too. Clearly this is down to the acting skills of Kristen Bell and whatever legend plays Logan. They've brought to us Logan and V. Damn cw. Reaper and V Mars, RIP. LONG LIVE LoVe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the network should have done - what any normal network WOULD have done - was allow the writers a fourth series to wrap it up with. When I say wrap it up, I clearly mean get this Piz guy OFF THE SHOW and V an Logan together. As it should be. And if they'd do a movie, why not just a made-for-tv movie so the fans can watch it and the non-believers can watch bloody how i met your mammy. They did this to Reaper, too. All the good shows are being tossed aside. We'll miss ya, V. Ya ledge.
