@hh73 I would not know if that is a possibility. Sorry. What kind of video do you guys have? That would be the important question I think. If your video drivers are different than his, than it could be a limitation of the video itself, nothing you can do about it I'm afraid, even if you go to XP... :0(
@310Sparkz I believe he played around with the display size until he got it to work right. Have you tried the largest display resolution available in your display settings?
The whole screen should fit width-wize. Vertically a small part of the program stays out-of-view, but the screen scrolls so you can see the very bottom/top of the program.
I'll try to get blade in here, he can give you more accurate details.
Right click on your desktop, choose Properties, then Settings. I set my resolution to: 1024x768. My Serato settings are maxed out with the exception of the latency set @ 5. Hope that helps!
haha i used an acer 650 with torq it was fine for about 7 hours then decided to melt its insides haha

boo. i have the hp mini 210 and cant get the resolution past 1024*600. serato wont start. will downgrading to xp help?

1. Open up "regedit" (registery editer) by searching programs in start menu
2. Search/find “Display1_DownScalingSupported”
3. Click it and set value to "1"
4. Restart and you will have a higher resolution option.
Works on Windows 7 starter for sure...
