Indus valley is modern day Pakistan and Kashmir area. It is located in very unstable area of the world. I would not suggest traveling to either country. However, you can visit Nalanda in Bihar, world's most ancient and extensive library till the Mughal's burned it. Ajaanta Alora caves in Mumbai which has carvings of Christianty, Hinduism, Buddhism etc.
