Hmm this forecast turned out to be quite wrong. That potential very heavy snow across the SE for Friday never materialised, and the snow during the week hit other areas not mentioned in the forecast pretty badly. Areas in particular were NW England on Tuesday and central southern England, and SE England to a lesser extent by a snow storm on the Wednesday night/Thursday.

It seems the armageddon snow for Friday is still a small possibility, but the low pressure system associated is slipping south east across Europe, ie Holland & Germany for example. We will see snow, but not the proportions predicted in this forecasts.
