This probably wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't following the masterpiece that was "Parade of Dreams." Seriously. That had everything a Disney parade should.
we have been going to DL for years and we think the dancing and music is so much better. our kids love it especially our 18 month old. kept the kids entertained the whole 20 minutes. Good job Disney!

a few years ago two parents went out to dinner.a few hours later,the babysitter was calling to see if she could cover up the clown statue in the kid's room,the father said"Get the kids out of the house,we'll call the police we don't have a clown statue"."the clown statue" was actually a killer that escaped from jail.if you don't post this on 10 videos tonight the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand. sorry don't want this to happen to me
It's a dream cone true for everyone... having a trip to Disneyland.. I won't let it miss for my kids in the future... In fact I go crazy with any Mickey or Minnie stuffs..

I was so hyped up when I saw this 2 years ago ( I was 18 and it was my first time there) I probably looked like a crazy person! MOST importantly! Check Disney 'dates' before walking into the Magic Kingdom with one of your kids on your shoulders and finding out it's one of their "Gay Days"! Then you do an about-face and head back to the car so it can be a Sea World Day! The kids maybe a little sad, but you promise them you'll go there another day to save the kids from perversion.
Been there, done that, and burning more vacation days so we could go on a 'straight' day. One of their guys told me, "85% of the staff are gay!"
Wish they did the electric parade and fireworks like they used to....

Beryl, Great to read your comments because whilst I am a little younger at 63 & 3/4 I think it is a great place and I don't live close at hand. I think it is the innocence that we would all like to find in our main street. Talking of main street does anyone know where I can get the music that is broadcast on main street either on disc or download. The disc I bought in Paris is not what I was seeking. It's just a street party similar to the one they have at Hollywood Studios in Orlando, FL. It's not an actual parade. The have this one at the Magic Kingdom in FL as well!!
I don't know about Disneyland, but in Disney World it's a street party not a parade. There is still your average good fun parade in Disney World. So people please stop complaining that this isn't a parade, because it's a street party.
I know Disney's Electrical Parade was replaced by the new nighttime show "World of Color" at California's Adventure Park. But, it still has some movies that was made by The Walt Disney Company including Pixar from the past decade.
I don't like the new "Celebrate, Street Party parade, I like the old parade "Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams". Because it has characters from the films made by Walt Disney, some from the past decade and his memories of having people to come to Disneyland, not every week or even every month but every year a lot of people came to Disneyland. We are not rooting about Hannah Montana. We are rooting for Walt Disney.
And this called a parade? Come on! This is not a parade..I have been 5 times in Disneyland Paris.. and i have see a lot of parades... but not like this. Or is this America?
I just returned from Walt Disney World and it has this same show currently at the Magic Kingdom and it's called Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party and is performed about 3 times a day and there is still a prade at 3pm called the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. So it's not the daily parade it's actually bonus entertainment and I'm guessing it's the same deal at Disneyland.
The parade would be better if their were more people from classic Disney. Not the people that look like they're from a bad version on High school musical singing Hannah montana. Everything is so commercial now. I miss the magic.
This parade is too "dancy" in my opinion. Disney parades should make the guests feel the Disney Magic. I would hate to get in a front row seat and get stuck with dancers the whole time. Disney is about the characters, not a bunch of dancing! The song choice from Hannah Montana wasn't good either, haha.
I actually like parade dancers. I don't mind them. But the music could MAYBE be a bit better... Actually, I would compromise on this. Lets have all the Disney characters out there dancing instead with true Disney beats.
@CosplayCore It's the differences between this version and the Disney World version, that are quite noticeable especially the dancing and such. The dancing in Magic Kingdom are more simple but easy to remember if you get me. So after a few times of seeing it you remember the dances. The songs are different as well and a bit more fun as well. None the less I like this one too :D
Disneyland is for all ages. Those of you who are lucky enough to live so close by, are so so lucky. It is a place to get lost in, to escape from the outside world.

This is not one of my favorite parades. You know Disney is going down when they open up with Hanna Montana as there opening number. Disney perades are suppose to be about the classic disney. NOT Hanna Montana and random music from the past years.

I'm no fan of this parade. The parade of freams was much much better. This just looks more like a pride parade...lame!!!

seriously ppl should just stop criticizing everything and enjoy the happiness for one moment. I just went to Disneyland 3 weeks ago. So sad that i didn't have time to stay for this parade. I am definitely coming back. It doesn't matter what music it plays, it is the vibe that pumps people up. There is a child side in every person. So just enjoy, laugh and dance:p

This is not one of my favorite parades. You know Disney is going down when they open up with Hanna Montana as there opening number. Disney perades are suppose to be about the classic disney. NOT Hanna Montana and random music from the past years.

i went to disney land recently and it looks like they just made the parade more "disney channel" like. The electrical parade was more freaking awesome. No offense.

Wow they got the same parade from April 2009 til August 2010.I went to that parade on August 9th 2010 and it ROCKS!

I'd LOVE to perform in Disneyland or Seaworld :] I'm only 16 so I'm hoping thats an early enough start...we'll see where I get with this! After years of dance and figure skating, I've always wanted to do Disney on ice as well!
