  • i was here

  • judge's fed up! and bold's wise up sound alike

  • probably the best straight edge band of all time. bringin' it down is perfection start to finish. forget this time is pretty suspect though but it can't take away from the rest of their work.

  • Great X band.

  • Mike judge is a fat fuck !

    he sings good hardcore songs.

I respect that he didnt become a hardcore

happy days and left while he had the chance.

    fcuk all you poseurs

  • THIS ISNT 1988.

I PLAYED THIS SHOW THE "Other" ANTHRAX JUDGE 1988 HAS THE SAME PEOPLE ON STAGE AS THE SHOW I HAVE FROM HOGANS HEROES 1988. THIS CLEARLY IS 1989 OR LATER.

the bass player was on the other side in 1988 anthrax show.

  • I know Ive actually seen that on other anthrax videos.

Theres one on here of youth of today with ray with his krishna pony tail saying its 1987?

    wtf

  • man,i was at this show brings back memories,i would like to find avideo from powersurge from anthrax club,i was with them like evryday back then, antrax club was the hardcore scene next to cbgb

  • anthrax is the thing...they rock...cold war heavy metal yeah!

  • the Ney York Brotherhood still lives.Hardcore for life

  • I was at this one and many more,Navy Jim..say hi if you remember me

  • I split the crotch in my jeans 10 seconds into this stage diving. I was home on leave from the Marines, 2 years later I joined up with Judge to tour. Imagine this every night. Oh don't let me forget to mention only me and Mike did all the fighting with Nazis, Boston fags. The band hated that I drank beer and ate meat, but I was a Marine who protected them, lived with them and would do anything for them.

  • Wheres Mike now, theres nothing online...

  • Out of respect for the man I can't say. Lets just say he is happy doing what he is doing.

  • hi, i'm the (original) bass player in the video. mike lives in hibernation from all of his old friends. not sure what happened to him but mostly i think he became disillusioned with the scene. i left the band to be a buddhist monk in 1991 and lost touch with him. i've tried to get in touch with him but no luck. i know he's well, got married, and lives near his old house in jersey. john porcelly is doing well, too, living in florida. i'm in touch with him.

  • Hey Jimmy its Todd S.holding down Montville. I talk to Mike all the time, I'll let him know you were reaching out. I also spoke with Howard Horowitz a week ago and Porcell.Just PM me to exchange emails and stuff. I did some interview for a SXE online zine about Old Smoke and being the Judge roadie and they asked about you, but I didn't know what to say. These guys would love to interview you. Just let me know. Hope all is well with you.

  • todd, email me: jyyu(at)princeton(dot)edu

  • Jimmy, Its Todd how are you doing! I moved back to Montville and drove by your ould house the oter day. Anyway hope all is well

  • hardcore still lives. see champion, betrayed, outbreak, go it alone, terror, etc. there's just more fake bullshit to sift through.

  • JUDGE was amazing, and sowas our scene back then, with bands like Slapshot, Youth of Today, Shelter, Burn, Eye for an Eye, Sick of it All. SE or not they were all great and instilled a sense of pride and the feeling that you belonged to a group of extrodinary strength, It was a great help for u kids who never really felt like we belonged to anything... you kids today only wish you could have a scene like we did, be it Boston, NYC, or LA...

  • Dont blame shit on scene kids. Blame it on yourselves for not doing anything. FSU fought skin heads out of shows, you can fight for your music back.

I listen to the best of both worlds. Fuck being msuically narrow minded. But fuck calling that "Dun dun chigga chigga" shit hardcore.

  • Ahh.. Those were the days. The positive energy, the unity, the moshing. Watch and learn "scene"kids!

  • JUDGE - fuckin' energy

  • yo i used to live in weston. where in norwalk did they play? the closest prof. venue is toads in new haven.

  • did u know WarZonE guyzz?

  • it'll never be like this again..thanks scenester assholes..thanks "hardcore kids" that say they love it but never attend shows, thanks hot topic...and now thanks myspace..for ruining something so wonderful and meaningful

  • These guys helped me survive my high school years. My all time favorite HardCore band

  • Best NYHC band of all time. Others have come, others have gone, but Judge was the best.

  • awesome vid! Judge rules!

  • bold and youth of today were great also.

  • this is so good, what a good band

  • fuck i was like a year old back then..hahaa..i wish i could have been there

  • excellent video man..... i loved seeing judge back in the day.... brings back alot of memories

  • The greatest TRUE hxc band ever

  • the new york crew 7" was old school hardcore perfection. bringing it down LP was good too but too much metal influence a times

  • The best part was all the porno mags in the dumpster outside.

  • i can't believe there was some sort of scene going on in norwalk. it's a pretty lame town now.

  • "Some sort of scene"? The Anthrax WAS the scene.

  • Who remembers when the Anthrax was in Stamford?

  • Me! I still have tons of fotos of the place and the shows there.

  • you should post your pictures.

  • Mike Judge... the best!
