definitely connect all of your track, and then pour the plaster over everything all at once. I just used a single piece of track because thats all i had at the time to demonstrate
I would like too know more about the electrics so that If I wanted too place a switch I won't end up with two trains rolling at the same time when i bring on over onto a siding..
@modeltrain9500 .. neither as yet,but i would lie too know the difference,I am thinking of building one when i get back home too Canada after living in the UK for the last 8 years. I just remember starting a layout when I was a kid and just could not get a complete circuit and when ever i set up a siding both trains would run and that is not good as they would kinda bump into each other and short out..LOL. Thanks
This is truly an awesome idea! I've been wondering how to do my maintanence yard & roundhouse w/turntable and this is it! This will work out perfectly. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us in this great hobby. BTW, you're really talented when it comes to these instructional videos you're doing. I've already noticed an improvement in your videos since your first postings. Keep up the good work! Time to crash now so I'll check out the rest of your videos tomorrow. Thanks again!
Since you made the concrete level to the height of the rail, a little fine sandpaper will fully expose the top of the rail, which is what provides the train with power
For some other kind of proyect, I recomend you to get a tripod and place the camera in steady position and show procedures, parts, tools and materials to the camamra, so you dont make yor viewers dizzy.
it could be anything. 1 part is just like X or Y in a math problem. for example... X=water Y= plaster 2x + 1Y= plaster mix.
you dont always need to pay attention to that. i generally just estimate what i think would work well. it should be able to be poured, but stay in place where you put it. sort of like pancake mix i guess.
i would imagine so. like i said, the only problem you may run into is that you mess up the paint. but if you put a TON of the paint in the plaster when you mix it, then you wont have a problem at all. otherwise, you will be in a circle of cleaning and painting, cleaning and painting lol. lemme know how it works for you
Do you have to do it peice by peice or can you put all of the track together for your yard and do it then?

thank you very much for making this video!! i was looking for a way to do this.
also, for cleaning it, would i be able to use that track eraser for the track to clean it like usual?
ballparkfrank10 2 years ago
