you have a nice lightshow, but wouldn't you think about overall lighting? you only have ''special'' lights. When you'd have some normal par 56's you would also enjoy the people who aren't at the dancefloor!

i Have 2 I move 5s And i hate them brakets they sit on makes the lite look so low hangging i like it close to were its hangging as posible

Tipp: when i set up my lightings, the last thing i do is to lift up my trussing ..thats much more easier ;)

yo guys im gonna host a rave in my basement for my 16th birthday party. i have a few question hopefully you or ppl on youtube can answer this. ok 1. Do i need to have trusses? 2. You need a operator for the DMX Controller and it isnt automatic right? 3. Do most DJs know how to use a DMX controller for the lights (Sry im new to this im sounds like a total retard)

@ericcartman623 You aren´t retard dude, thats the way to learn into this!, Answers to your question:

1. Isnt necessary to have trusses, instead you can use Clamps depending where you want to place your lights.

2.Most DMX lights can operate in a variety of ways, the can operate Master-slave mode, just plug DMX data cable and make a chain between lights, or you can use a DMX controller to make your own lightshow programs.

3. This may vary, some Djs focus only in Dj area, but some Djs(like me), know how to set up a complete stage.

I work doing big lighting and sound set up for a variety of Events, i have an advice to you guys, everything is fine, but its easier if you set up everything before rising up the truss holders bars, then do a test to check up if everything is working correctly, so you rise it up, when you are working you cant raise the truss holders before placing the lights!, Hope this can make set up easier for you guys! Good Look and keep it up! =)

u need to get some wash lights with the smaler venues the moving spots are fine but with the larger venues u need some wash lights to fill the gaps. And nice setup :-)

Erm. Wondering why you lifted the truss then put the lights on... Theres two of you, therefore you could put the lights on the truss then lift slowly each side.

I have same truss with t bars ;)
