The inside is full of cheap stuff they don't even keep clean. Why would they want that good of a seurity system anyway? All they have is cheap food and like $300 at the most in the register. Not much to loose/.

I work at McDonalds, and I also used to work at a BP petrol station, BP only has audio recording in the cashier area, and even then, thats not for all stores, only some.

Places like McDonalds are extremely noisy, so the likelyhood of picking up anything relevant on the mic is pretty much non-existant, so most places go without it.
