because devastators parts do not have a robot form, the constructicons who do have a robot mode cant transform into devastator and they are like ordinary decipticons who have the same parts devastator has so devastator is just one robot

The Constructicons what formed Devastator didn't possess robot modes, and so could only combine. They just shared the vehicle modes of the others. But to Lunglad, Grindor isn't Blackout. Grindor is bigger than Blackout was.

You sure about that? Grindor and Blackout share the same altmode, so when they transform, their height should be the same.

AND, Grindor(deceased) was a CH-53 Sea Stallion, Blackout(deceased) was a MH-53 Pave Low, a smaller version of the Sea Stallion. (wish a robot in movie 3 turns into a B-17, that would be awesome)

i think i have the answer to the CC problem, what I think is that there is like an army of long hauls, and an army of mixmasters etc. and there are multiple devastators cause in the comic prequels prime mentioned the constructicon teamS. but thats just the way i see it

yeah man ive seen them refferred to as constructicon drones in official cannon, and you see long haul in robot mode whilst devastator is combined. the writers where just lasy mani enjoyed the film but you can tell that the writers new people would like it regardless so they didnt even try to make a good script, characters just disapear and appear without explanation and blackout is in it when he died in the first they might f changed his name btit is still blackout, fuck bay man lasy bastard

I think micheal bay took a nod to the G1 series. How every episode (espesially the movie), there would be doubles, or triples of robots going around everywhere.

I can answer that in the movie there are 2 sets of Constructicons: one with a robot mode and vehicle mode, and one with a vehicle mode and a Devastator component just like the toys
