Hey can you please tell me what brand of heavy body acrylics do you use? Golden? Is there anywhere that I can buy medium sized paint cans of acrylic paint? Thanks!
I can understand that as an artist, Splash Arnhem is in love with the consistency of the materials, the liveliness of the liquids before they dry. The only problem to me is how expensive this exercises are. I can't help to feel a little envy, cause of the quality of the materials some people in certain countries can afford (I feel glad for them, too). It seems to be some ethical issues to it. But in the merely artistic aspect, I think it is very interesting and fun.
This is a demo picture that we make in the workshops so students can see different ways to bring op paint. During the workshops one of the things we explain is how to create depth within a painting that has perspective. The building up of layers will create depth. All the original layers can be seen somewhere in the picture.
good job, i like it. I did recently a animation with color pouring down skycrapers. if you are interested in more motion pictures watch this animation on my channel

would you say paint splashing is more exploring colours and other possibilities of what you can create rather than just art that you would hang up on a wall ?
Big thanks, hope you put up more videos of cool stuff you can do with this kind of art! Love to see more..! Inspiering ( don't know how to spell that) movies for me! // K

does anyone else wanna go to that workshop, or is that just me?
DJsaxby16 2 months ago
I am not saying that i do not like it but is it necessary to throw so much paint??.
SimpleoneE 2 months ago
@SimpleoneE I agree. It's such a waste of paint. The end product looks nice, not worth that much paint though.

I really like this kind of art but ... I think that more and more layers upon layers of color come to no longer have a utility

cost of colors = 2.000$ ahahahahah

egalescout2010 3 months ago
what are you spraying? Does that solidify the paint so you can keep painting without waiting for it to dry?

Actually those final strokes he used made the bottom layer of the paint resurface.

NO FEAR, is what I get from this. No fear of wasting paint, no fear of dirtiying something, no fear of screwing up......Keep up the good work.
