I don't think it's a shame that someone like Bryan Danielson isn't in WWE or TNA despite getting offers, because if he did end up in the majors he wouldnt be used right and his style would be dumbed right down to fit their safe-style of TV wrestling (e.g CM Punk currently). I'm not saying TV style is bad, its just never going to bring out the best in someone as talented as Bryan Danielson. So its best he stays in the indys, both US and international that way fans will continue to see his best.

Don't blame it on the fans or even the promotion. The fans are educated to enjoy a certain style of wrestling which is fine when done well. The truth is that the majority of indy talent today is garbage. It peaked in 2006 and is no longer producing the talent it was in the first half of this decade. That's not to take away from Bryan Danielson who's an amazing worker.

Thank you for pointing out the obvious. Of course a match with Indy stars is going to go longer on a three hour INDY show where the fans came to see INDY wrestlers as opposed to a one hour produced WWE show where the paying fans came to see stars! It's just the reality of business. Wake up!

Danielson has been given two offers to join the WWE, not to count the time he was already in their developmental system but too green to be noticed. He's friends with a lot of the major stars and recognized as being very good worker.

It does in fact suck that Danielson is enjoying making a healthy living wrestling internationally and on the independents as apposed to showcasing his talents to a global audience. Perhaps one day..
