I remember getting to this part and being disappointed by the "Boss Battle". I had been sitting around, grinding like a madman in preparation, only to end up knocking out that Megazord-reject of a digimon in two moves with Greymon. Should've been one, since he was left with some 2hp after the first hit.

At this point in the game, Coelamon was the one digimon that gave me trouble. Only digimon to ever wipe out my entire team. But once I got to level 10, even they were pushovers.

That's what no life trolls do, they are both equally good since I grew up with both Digimon and Pokemon. Plus it's the only series that have excelled evolutions and exceed pass the 100's HP marks to the 1,000's which Pokemon does NOT do. Both have cool attack moves except for the stupid starter moves you get on Pokemon like splash, tail whip, sand attack,and etc.

just let the other two digimon faint and the last one will digievolve into it's Ultimate form and kill him with one blow. the power charges are a waste of time and money.

see, some of u guys shldnt train so hard. it ruins the fun and challenge of the game. and its tedious and exhausting to do so. thats two cons for ya. i'd say lv12-13 is optimum for beating pharoahmon. or u could try using one digimon (lv15-16 for pharoahmon i'd say) items.

@DarkSephiroth66 Same here. Pokemon and Digimon have their pros and cons. For Pokemon, the pro is the manga and the con is the anime, with the opposite for Digimon. But both their games are pros.

And yes, there is a Pokemon manga, but it is way different than the anime. In the manga, each of the characters are named after the games (Black, White, Pearl, etc.) and the plot acts more like an adult drama as opposed to the overly used childish plots and humor of the anime.

I trained my greymon to lvl 88 at tyrannomon valley and then when I went to go face pharaohmon I killed him in the first blow with nova blast.

It was definitely my favorite. Then one day, my friends I've known for years, I let them borrow it. Then they move to Vegas. Never played it since.

I just ordered it online for about 30 bucks.

I loved this game, but I have to admit it is a little pokemon-ish.

You should train your digimon like:

Once one lvs up lv another one up and keep going so they are at least almost equal in lv.

Pharohmon is easy if you DNA DV Agunimon.

LOL I just did this battle today! Only, I picked the powerful pack, coz I love renamon and agumon in the anime! they are both great so far, pharaohmon is weak against fire though so my greymon beat his ass in 2 turns! (Both times: Triple Fire). He was only lvl 15, too! Greymon is awesome :)

IMO digiworld 3 was the best of the series, it just felt like the most polished, though 1 was also great. Funnily enough I played 2 the most for some reason even though it was extremley linear and nowhere near as good.

How do you start out in your digivolved form? I always waste my first go by digivolving but on this video you start out as grizzmon without having to digivolve during the battle from kumamon. Can you explain how to do this please =]=]

you have to go to the menu and then click on status, i think. if you select your digivolved form, there should be an option to turn on digivolve battle form. if not, i believe that piximon in one of the cities could turn on that option for you. hope this helps :)
