I just downloaded an app from the android market for my my touch, its called remote android, it lets you controll your computer with the phone, you use the touch screen(or track ball) as the mouse and when you hold the menu key the keyboard comes up so you can type, just have to make sure you have your wi-fi on, its fuckin bad ass! I love it haha I also got a working metal detector..probally never use it, but its awesome!!!

I doubt it, isnt boost mobile prepaid? to have the phone it requires a data plan which is like 25ish a month just for web, and theres one for I think 35ish a month for the unlimited web and messaging, I have the web and messaging. Right now Im pretty sure tmobile is the only company offering the my touch in the U.S. but Im sure you can get an unlocked one...I hear it wont work as well Im not real sure. Id just go with T-mobile they may wrk with you, they let me pay it over a 4 month period

I ordered my My Touch a few days ago, T-mobile let me use my wifes upgrade, the UPS site says is going to be delivered today, Im so stoked and I cant wait to get it, definately looking forward to it! dude i suggest returnin the mytouch and wait for the mytouch LE...it uses the 32a board meanign it has 288mb of ram...the reg mytouch uses32b which has 192 mb... and 96mb of extra ram really does make the phone run a lot smoother when multitasking.

g1 gets updated and i have a g1 ad it updated now i have the virtual keyboard horizontal and vertical .. second the g1 has keyboard and thats a turnoff for most people .. my point is people who have g1 dont upqrade cause its waste of money .. and i recommend ur better off still qettinq a g1 .. any questions hit me up

The My Touch is a lot better than G1. Obviously, if i already have the G1 then i wouldn't waste money on the My Touch. It's not a waste of money if you don't have either one. The My Touch has longer battery life, looks better, smaller, and Android is smoother than the G1.

I upgraded yesterday from the G1 because I get bored with phones after about 6 months. The MyTouch holds a bunch more apps and runs quicker (more memory). I'm getting used to the lack of harware keyboard, but the smaller size is better for me. Most ppl probably shouldn't upgrade, but I'm glad I did. If you can do without the slide out keyboard, the MyTouch is a better choice IMO.

I have tried the i phone touch screen but there about the same thing. the my touch does not support multitouch.but what makes the my touch better then the i phone is the app sherpa and some other cool apps the i phone does not have and that you can customize your home page the way you like.
