  • Farming on the railroad?

  • They need to make tanks like that.

  • I wanna see that PLOW actually PLOW into something...

  • plow is not holy

  • theres a train hooked to tht plow lmao

  • @ahairytesty no shit......thats what its for... to clear train tracks

  • what and where is LSRC ?

  • Lets see some clever little tool lay under the train with a video camera with this coming!

  • I'd hate to be the cow to get hit by that thing....

  • you wouldn't even have to armor something like this, if the conductor hides real low in the cabin I bet you could fire light machine guns at it and he'd still be safe and sound when its all over

  • @GodlessMartyr666 come in from the sides?

  • @wampaAWESOMEsauce well of course if people are shooting at you in any situation you run away, so the train would probably start up and move away from the danger ... Perhaps if they shot the engine up enough to stop it.

  • Nice M3 on there

  • officially the most pointless thing ive watched all day

  • thats a really rickedy looking plow

  • DON'T BEAT THE TRAIN, OR ELSE!

  • Hmmm.

  • And that is about the top speed the acela reaches. (:

  • was that huge thing really necessary

  • Zombie Apocalypse vehicle anyone?

  • @XX0Angel0XX that would work to a point

  • Holy its an Alco!

  • That's a Jordan spreader!

  • Thats an ancient lookin whore!!

  • mad max

  • What about holy cow it's a cow MOOOO!!

  • all the spots on the plow shovel part is from hitting deer going really fast, they splat like bugs lol

  • One question... Dose anyone ride in the plow or not?

  • @Steviethetornadokid Sure does. Can be anywhere from one guy to 3 or 4 depending on the version of Jordan spreader and the company. Someone has to operate the wings and move the front of the spreader up and down as you can't have the blade down when you pass over crossings or switches.... tends to rip out the ties in the crossing or rails in the switch and really mess up your day not to mention that of the engineer, conductor, trainmaster, etc.......

  • hahahahahaha, i like the title. lol.

  • great video, this is a spreader not a plow. The spreader can push snow back further than a plow. This is useful to clean up after storms to clear crossing sight line, or yards etc. In this video he is taking the "flange" out between the rail. Buildup of snow between rails can slow down trains retarding wheels, and snow can build up over rails more quickly in later storms, which can affect braking. Spreaders are not as good for clearing drifted in cuts because they cant operate at track speed.

  • Wow old school Nice very nice!

  • Holy Plow! Not much to plow, lol. Cool video Paul!

  • Not much to clear...

  • They where bringing it back to their shop for some repairs then they were going to head north where I think there's more than 2' of snow on the ground.

  • @SantaFebuff You think this is nothing, I've seen one of these come through Illinois in like June or July.

  • nice!!!! heard on RRfan they were gonna run one and im glad someone caught it!

  • Never seen that before! 5/5
