@sagitarian65 No they won't, in fact we have a distinct Filipino accent. Sorry if I used the wrong term but if you listen to their accent, do you have any term for that? Have you heard manny pacquiao or her mom? even my uncle or my friend sound like them. I've nothing against promdis, in fact I respect them enormously . DOn't get me wrong, I'm just stating that we would sound exactly like them if we're not exposed to English laguage. What's wrong with sounding promdi anyway ?
Hahaha, these Indons sound like promdi Pinoys trying to speak english! I guess we would all sound like that without our English education. They also look a lot like Filipinos.
@athenstar10 ... promdi ha? even the home grown elite metro manilans who speak articulately english still sounds promdi when they speak to the americans or go to the US!!!!
@sagitarian65 Americans nor other Foreign nationals don't even mind our distinct accent so why would we? Anyways, I know this is too off the topic conversation. I'm stopping it right now. Peace out.
Sobrang proud ako sa Philippine Team sa na-achieve nila sa AFF Suzuki Cup 2010! I have been following the team ever since I saw a leaflet about the AFF qualifiying games in a convenient store in Viantianne, Laos. So proud of this team. This is just the beginning.

@MultiHephep Now yes, but if not for the Americans, we would sound either like a Latino or like our neighboring countries.
