My cousin was on this show when she followed a cab and then got a bloodhound puppy at the end!!! They called her Rosie and she use to poop all over my Auntie Jan's white carpets!!!!!
this disgusting bag of human garbage was a filthy paedophilic necrophiliac, and if you dont understand the title of "SIR" (knight) you need to wake up and find out...it aint nice........research and think!!
@forkielifter Why do you think he's a paedophile and a "disgusting bag of human garbage"? he did many notable works and gave children what the wished for. also being knighted is good, so he did good to earn it.
@forkielifter You cynical idiotic twat, Jimmy Saville was a saint of a man who raised millions for charity, worked for free as a hospital porter because he enjoyed using his fame to give something back to the community. So what if he was eccentric and different and a bit odd, no idea where u get the idea from that he was ' paedophilic necrophiliac' ... is it because u are thick enough to think that someone who isnt in a hetrosexual marriage is some kind of abuser?
When I was about 13 I tried to look up his phone number in the London phone directory. I wanted to ask if he could fix it for me to meet Olympic gymnast Nadia Comanech! I rung one number, not sure who it actually was I rung, and asked for Jimmy Savile, and then she said "Hold on..." and I could hear like a big bell being rung at the other end. But I gave up waiting for someone to come back to me on the phone and hung up. Very probably a wrong number anyway!
A private person out of the media...a soul we shan't forget. The fun, the showmanship, the enhanced sheer will to give pleasure, a charachter of thrill so few could obtain today. Thank you James....enjoy your onward travel.
RIP Sir Jimmy Saville OBE. I was sad when I heard Jimmy had passed away. My first memory of Jimmy was when I watched him present Jim'll Fix it when I was a child. I still remember the opening and closing themes today and Jimmy's intro Hello and Welcome to some more super Jim'll Fix its.
One of the all time greats that helped make the 70's and 80's golden. A man who appealed to all ages, and no matter what background people came from or what position they held, he always kindly referred to them as " Young man " or " Young lady ". He will be missed by all who valued those golden years. Thank you Sir Jimmy
Great guy, worlds going to miss him, done so much for charity and altho a very rich man, a man who would never pass you in the street, still remained one of us,sad day
I remember that one with spider man, but i also recall one with Wonder Woman tidying her room jus as her mother marching up the stairs does anyone out there recall that one
I was on Jim'll fix It in 1984. Got the video tape at home but not sure how to get it on here. I were the only person to be on the cover of SMASH HITS magazine who never had anything to do with music. I had a fantastic time I were 13/14 yrs at the time xxx How do I get it on here xxx
Lol, Your so lucky! I wrote to jim in 1982. Tom Baker (Dr Who) came to my school but I was off sick! I wrote to jim cos I wanted to go with the Doctor in the Tardis and go to a different planet and meet Daleks! lol, Jim never replied boo!! Don't know how you get it on here but if you go to your local pc shop they will be able to tell you. I'm sure there is a gadget you can buy that converts video to pc. All the best, Stevie

I prefer the more rock'n'roll intro that was around in the 70's to early 80's.

I always used to expect to hear the "ba ba baaa" theme tune at the start of the show. Even now, the opening theme is unfamiliar to me.

At 0:53, he predates Alan Partridge with the catchphrase "ha-haa!"

Our teacher set us a project to write to Jim. I refused to write the letter for some reason. Wasn't ready for it in case I won I suppose.
Looking back it probably would have made me into a different person and not a complete introvert batchelor who surfs the net all the time :/
