  • Uniforms of the time varied - as indeed they do now. The British wore white green, red, blue - depending on the Unit and situation. Same for every army. Also, Rebels (forgive my term - I'm a British 'loyalist' LOL) wore a range of colours because of logistical and organisational limitations.

Excellent clip. Thanks for posting it.

  • These are not British uniforms. The Continental Army wore Blue , the Musicians wore red to differentiate them in Battle, not to shoot at the Musicians.

  • 2nd pad drummer you are right you can hear them from about a mile away, that was the purpose to motivate the militia, and scare the crap out of you ever was preparing to fight them, and i think they wear them uniforms becasue this was before the revolotuionary war time period thats when it all changed

  • i was wondering about the uniforms as well, royal americans? 1757 maybe? add better buttons, and you could take some pot shots at the 60th light foot good video tho

  • why did williamsburg change their drums to british style? why did they use mics. when the fife and drums are loud enough to be heard from atleast a half mile away, and WHY DID THEY MAKE LA REGOUISANCE SOUND ALMOST LIKE A FIFE SOLO?????

  • What's the name of the song?

    like it

    thanks
