I want to slap that stupid spoiled white beyotch off the screen. Rick Mercier ought to do a parody of this incredibly, and have the tourists get stuck in the middle of a bloody coup, pooping themselves in fear. Then they'd know what grande worries are really like.
Some of you obviously need to lighten up.... So she's annoying.... and they're spoiled rich tourists whining to a poor old woman in a third world country about their investments tanking -- get over it (and buy yourself a sense of humor while you're at it)!
I hate this commercial. Spoilt first world people with enough money to invest (and travel) condescending to the local vendor (who probably lives on a few dollars a week) about their mucho grande worries. The female tourist is particularly obnoxious.
This woman is in so many commericals. Who is she and why? I've seen her in this one, in one where they're installing a TV, in one for a crossword/scratch and sniff like thing.....all in a similar time span. So weird.
plan...my plan was a first home buyers mastercard that was supposed to get me dollars toward my first home. 3 years and 1800 points later they denied me a mortgage as to not pay out what they owed me. i had no debt and had been teaching for 3 years. thanks bmo. nice rip off.
How about if our culture moves away from corporate greed and hyper-consumerism, instead? How about if more CEOs and executives take major pay cuts? How about if we stop looking at the rest of the world as our tourist-stop or marketplace?
Because, y'know, us white North Americans have bigger worries than these 3rd world, rural peasants even with their contaminated water supplies, their drought-ridden farms, their starving children... our worries are still so much more... important.
This actress, whose name I still cannot find, is also in webisodes for "Being Erica" - there are a few videos that act as a prequel to the show. She plays the annoying woman in the next cubicle who always leaves Erica little post-its about how she disapproves of her. :)
LOL times infinity!

had to come back to this.
sooo funny.
the greatest thing about living in a border town is getting Canadian commercials."Stop cooking with cheese!"
and all the rest, and repeated over and over.
The female tourist deserves a comedy award or her own show!
Pure brilliance, this!

I love this video! The mark of a truly great commercial if it can generate this much heated debate and still be really funny. Good job BMO.

Wow, I'm surprised nobody's commented on how offensive this commercial is.
They're being very condescending about their money concerns to somebody whose worries include human rights violation and political unrest.
Don't go to Guatemala and talk to the impoverished about your shitty white people investment worries...kiiiinda rude.

I love this commercial above all others.
It's me-
Without coffee I'm UP, without it, I'm DOWN.
I thought of it this morning, next to the coffee machine.
I love the female tourist.
She's like,
Let me handle this.
