on the contrare i would recomend drop. to many times there are those noobs using low trap on higher cogs when you would rather keep all the cogs lured for the next turn. choosing drop wont allow you to make that stupid decision since drop doesnt work on lured cogs. It would be more of a team effort to use drop in that case and you will find less toons annoyed with you. Of course this is just my opinion. Like coach z said it doesnt really matter

heres a simple way to understand, Toon-Up or Sound = Pick Toon-up, Lure or Drop = Pick Lure, Trap or Sound = Sound, Trap or Drop = The choice is yours!
A majority of toons decide to either skip Drop or Trap in their toons, which is good thinking. Getting both drop and trap is poor gag choice, as one can cover for the other.
TU - Heals other toons, self-explanatory
Lure - Lures the cogs, preventing damage, and getting a bonus attack. very very useful
Sound - When used with other toons who have sound (nearly everyone) it becomes a very effective method of clearing cogs.
I would only skip one of those for the added challenge.
@Bradthelad13 How many toons did you force to cover your messes when you used every lure someone else threw as an opportunity to develop your trap? None? You are a rarity then. Most toons don't have that kind of restraint.

You dont have to have toonup to get far in this game. Some people dont have it because it is to hard to train, I have it but its hell trying to get my juggling balls.

Back in old toontown that ratio was 7:3(70% adults). @bath114 Toonup is my exception to my usual method of training. The best way to train toonup is to go to the Sellbot Headquarters Courtyard, and join every fight you can, tooning up anyone who is hurt. Just realize that others will be doing the same thing, so, try to avoid other toons trying to train toonup.
@CoachZucchini Also avoid toons who dont want to be bothered. I personally get really mad when random toons start training toon up when im training my gags as it takes longer to train while they are healing every round. Alot of other toons feel the same way, and some are very hostile in there responce to toons training toon up.
Coach Zucchini, Im making a new toon (NOT going to be an Uber), but when I come to my second choice am I allowed to choose Drop over Lure then pick Toonup over Lure (I didnt pick TU for starters, I picked Sound) THEN pick Lure or go for Lure FIRST then get the add ons later?

@ArcanineLover123 Toonup is a better starter gag, having toonup early on is good, you can heal other toons when your lower gags will mess up your teammates, and healing other toons is very important for when there almost dead rather then having sound. Drop or lure? Your choice. i chose drop and then picked lure last. If you picked drop at the beginning, don't get trap later on, if you pick lure at the beginning, skip trap and drop till the last choice then take your pick.
I would choose drop because it's better for solos, and trap doesn't have either same gag or knockback bonus and you can't use it on lured cogs and you can't really carry alot
My first toon with 135 laff has all 7 tracks because in old toontown you could have all 7.
My second toon with 115 laff did it in this order:
toonup, lure, trap, drop
notice I did not choose sound because the 135 toon had bad sound accuracy. leaving out sound isnt good, but it isnt bad either, it can be frustrating but has its advantages
my third toon with 106 laff did it in this order
sound, lure, toonup, drop

@gogos900 Its not a rip off, don't tell me its only like an anvil, if so then its going to miss more often, but get it to safe then it hits most of the time (just hit the cog with the lvl of the drop or 1 below or above) Then when your backs against the wall, drop! Your saved. Trap on the other hand, takes to rounds to use, when alone, not so good for soling (when low on health.) Oh and get this, trap needs lure to work witch has LOW accuracy! Same as drop so its not a rip off.

reason when you get to cj and cfo and ceo the cogs that come out get really hard. When the high toon tells everyone to use foghorn and you pull out an elephant trunk then I have 4 level 12 big cheeses attacking me all on red lights. See, when they are offered either drop or lure, they usually don't see the value of lure, so they take drop. But when offered trap, they realize the value of lure, so they choose sound or toonup, then pick lure over trap at the end.
@CoachZucchini Thats a good point. I never really saw it that way. I thought they just think that you can sound your way out of any situation, therefore ignore lure and pick everyother gag. But maybe if lure and drop was the final choise then more toons would have it?

Ok.... I feel like a cheese ball for leaving off lure. I chose toon up to start off but then when I was like 7... I CHOSE DROP! Now I have left off lure. I feel so angry. Got any solutions? Please send mail! I am begging you!

You dont have to have toonup to get far in this game. Some people dont have it because it is to hard to train, I have it but its hell trying to get my juggling balls.
Have you ever considered that this person already had a maxed doodle anyways?They could have, as you told us, THINK!

P.S. When you yell you might not realize this but its pretty embarrassing for an adult to yell at children for making a mistake on a GAME.

@CoachZucchiniIsMean The reason people get mad, is because snot nose little kids who have no business being in certain areas cause adult toons headaches when 60% of the people who play this game are adults NOT kids.(statistics as of may 2010). Back in old toontown that ratio was 7:3(70% adults). The little kids, like in real life DONT listen to reason and do what the hell they want, causing LONG boss runs, and countless toons to go sad, due to there innocent ignorance.

if you are having to choose toonup and trap (like i did) CHOOSE TOONUP!!!!!!! lure is very helpful but its not as important as sound or toonup! oh and GET DROP INSTEAD OF TRAP!!!!! trap is MUCH better than drop and stronger too

@bath114 Toonup is my exception to my usual method of training. The best way to train toonup is to go to the Sellbot Headquarters Courtyard, and join every fight you can, tooning up anyone who is hurt. Just realize that others will be doing the same thing, so, try to avoid other toons trying to train toonup.

I personally get really mad when random toons start training toon up when im training my gags as it takes longer to train while they are healing every round. Alot of other toons feel the same way, and some are very hostile in there responce to toons training toon up.

Coach Zucchini, Im making a new toon (NOT going to be an Uber), but when I come to my second choice am I allowed to choose Drop over Lure then pick Toonup over Lure (I didnt pick TU for starters, I picked Sound) THEN pick Lure or go for Lure FIRST then get the add ons later?

@ArcanineLover123 Toonup is a better starter gag, having toonup early on is good, you can heal other toons when your lower gags will mess up your teammates, and healing other toons is very important for when there almost dead rather then having sound. Drop or lure? Your choice. i chose drop and then picked lure last. If you picked drop at the beginning, don't get trap later on, if you pick lure at the beginning, skip trap and drop till the last choice then take your pick.

I would choose drop because it's better for solos, and trap doesn't have either same gag or knockback bonus and you can't use it on lured cogs and you can't really carry alot

Toons, listen to this:
My first toon with 135 laff has all 7 tracks because in old toontown you could have all 7.
My second toon with 115 laff did it in this order:
toonup, lure, trap, drop
notice I did not choose sound because the 135 toon had bad sound accuracy. leaving out sound isnt good, but it isnt bad either, it can be frustrating but has its advantages
my third toon with 106 laff did it in this order
sound, lure, toonup, drop
I know I should have chosen toonup first, still pixie

@gogos900 Its not a rip off, don't tell me its only like an anvil, if so then its going to miss more often, but get it to safe then it hits most of the time (just hit the cog with the lvl of the drop or 1 below or above) Then when your backs against the wall, drop! Your saved. Trap on the other hand, takes to rounds to use, when alone, not so good for soling (when low on health.) Oh and get this, trap needs lure to work witch has LOW accuracy! Same as drop so its not a rip off.

Do not bug out about gag choices like this! People are welcome to pick whatever gags they want! You cannot force everyone to get lure and it wouldn't be polite to TRY to do so anyway! There are gag CHOICES, let toons take advantage of that!

reason when you get to cj and cfo and ceo the cogs that come out get really hard. When the high toon tells everyone to use foghorn and you pull out an elephant trunk then I have 4 level 12 big cheeses attacking me all on red lights. But with taking sound first you donb't have to waste a round luring and using toon up toon-up and use up gags like juggling c.ubes iin case something misses. i think sound is better

See, when they are offered either drop or lure, they usually don't see the value of lure, so they take drop. But when offered trap, they realize the value of lure, so they choose sound or toonup, then pick lure over trap at the end.
