  • @toona123456789 Are you sure it wasnt for the photo of the cover? :D

  • Esto si son canciones chinga

    Dark Moor... eres el mejor...

  • Simplemente genial....

    Esto es Dark Moor...

    Tarot....

  • Please, stop doing this! Leave Mozart alone! :'(

  • @JazzyGiord Hey, hey, symphonic metal was founded on the work of people like Mozart. I think that he if or any of the old famous composers were around today they would be playing metal. They bare very similar features. If you don't like it that's fine, I'm just saying that I don't think it's disrespectful towards Mozart or anything.

  • @JazzyGiord hear the guys words.....

  • pro cool duper

  • Salieri must be mad.

  • I like metal and i like this version, but i still prefer slightly slower clasic version.

  • I can't imagine a time age without Metal... Oo

  • Mr Burns, "Excellent"

  • Masterpiece! i imagine a metalhead moving his hand like an orchest master and an ancient headbanging with this!

  • It's awsome! :D But mozart's original title: "A" major piano sonata, track 3, Turkish March. :D

  • @Hengeyokai85

Actually, as far as I know, it's Rondo Alla Turca - the "Turkish March" is something Beethoven wrote.

    But whatever :D

  • @twooffour This is a Mozart cover, but Beethoven's has also his turkish march (not as good in my opinion)

  • @twooffour Oh my good! :D You are right! It's Alla Turca... but i guess the other things I wrote are correct...

  • 27 people don't know who Mozart is.

  • @THEMASTERBATER324 who is Mozart? -dislikes video- >:D

    jk

  • @THEMASTERBATER324 its 30 now

  • @THEMASTERBATER324 its 30 now

  • @THEMASTERBATER324 No we just done like gay ass guitars ruining the classical peice.

  • @VictorAUlloa it's said that imitation is the greatest of compliments, Mozart would be proud of this and we all know it

  • @THEMASTERBATER324

    ... Or what Metal is...

  • Dark Moor is amazing!!!

  • Rocks! I agree...Mozart would'a loved it!

Honestly, metal is probably the only genre that really keeps the PASSION of the original Classical music alive! Classical music is still nice but it seems so "prim and proper" to go with your tea and scones nowadays, y'a know?

I can totally imagine all the people at the fancy balls kickin' up their heels to this - priceless!

  • @CodexArgenteus

Metal is passionate, but so is classic rock, "guitar pop", blues (especially the early 20th century) one, bigband (or any kind of jazz, really...), some country, some techno (even if not passionate, it's certainly "exciting")... a lot of popular genres, really.

Then, of course, there's the 20th century classical - both the mindblowing avantgarde stuff, AND neoclassical "fusion" of earlier periods with modern devices.

    watch?v=adAw-vER8Tg#t=300

    This sounds much more exciting...

  • @CodexArgenteus

... and edgy than, for example, this video (which I'd rather describe as "funny" and "quirky").

Here's just good ol' Bach, recorded in the 70s/80s:

    simfy.de/artists/13501-Musica-Antiqua-Koeln-Ensemble-Reinhard-Goebel-Musical-Director/albums/1091340-Bach-Brandenburg-Concertos-Orchestral-Suites-Chamber-Music

Check out 1/1, 1/9, ESPECIALLY 2/1, and 2/17 - the first 3 sound more exciting to me than this.

I guess what you could say is that none of those sounds as...

  • @CodexArgenteus "silly" and "camp" as this Dark Moor version of Mozart, but if you wanna talk "passion" and excitement, here's another version of the same piece: watch?v=bGq8xDlXVDY Doesn't sound like tea and scones to me... rather, makes Dark Moor sound like popcorn and cola ;) (Not all metal, mind you, but this style in particular.) And here's just some "prim'n'proper" late 20th century stuff for you: watch?v=pV6BeeoX474 watch?v=1ZTaiDHqs5s watch?v=UNsn7NjDPkM watch?v=-i_xpCNAN18 ;)
  • heck this is terrific stuff....I used to do this on piano...and is one of my faves haha Mozart has risen back from the dead lol and came to rock....:P

  • \m/

  • Mozart has risen from the grave, and is a Metal god.

  • I like Metal, I like Classical. Both together...

  • The guitarist is good and these interpretations are fine, but the drum machine and keyboards are just god-awful. With a little bit more creativity and care this could be really good, now it's just a nice try...

  • nejvíc super

  • @xX1shotkillsXx

That was Ludwig van Beethoven. Though he wasn't deaf from the beginning, he had an infection and turned deaf later.

  • Mozart was definitely this worlds first metalhead.

  • @xX1shotkillsXx Beethoven was deaf.. Mozart was a sexual deviant. and an S&M freak.. well at least by todays stanards.

  • Are am i the only one who get a boner by hearing this Track? ;D

  • awesome!

  • Si mozart viviera sería metalero xD

  • HAHAHAH HELL YEAAAAAH! ROCKING UNDER MOZART! I LUV YOU DARK MOOR!

  • I like this. Nice gothic version of this song. But i think Seree Lee version is the greatest metal version of this song: /watch?v=6z7etQ0oWu0&feature=BFp

  • @VITRUVVII gothic?????????????

  • The guitare is not mattrach ? O_o'!

  • OMFG I HAVE CONVERTED MY FATHER TO HEAVY METAL WITH THIS

  • @toona123456789 good job :D

  • @toona123456789 It is possible to convert parents to metal side i did the same with my mother but then with soad

  • @RavenDestroyer I did it with Nightwish, my father love it... he bought the cd and that... usually my father listen to Salsa music haha

  • @hyperduke2 Well mine listened to pop and my dad did some basic lay out so mine wasn't hard and also living on a small surface making sound hearable troughout the place helps

  • @toona123456789 congradulations it's not easy to do...

  • That's a better Turkish March :)

  • If Motzart were to see the instruments we have now, and the sounds they made......HE WOULD FU#@ING BLOW THEM AWAY! I'm pretty sure he would come up with something that no one has ever heard before!

on a side note, I'm glad to see that people still enjoy classical music ^_^

  • HELL YEAH!!!!!!!! -Headbangs-

  • Harpsichord + double bass drums = instant win.

  • 16 people got hit by Mozart's guitar

  • Facebook status

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Screw classic I'm gonna be a metalhead

    -907 people like this

    (:

  • @metalchick993 Classical is related to metal, so he would no leave it.

  • Mozart was the first rocker/metaller!!!

  • Und alle singen: come on rock me Amadeus! :P

    (ok, German insider joke)

  • @MyLillteFallenAngel not nessecarely ,german friends of mine tellme falco was austrian xD

  • Scatterbrain did this years ago

  • now i can imagine how they attempted headbanging in that time : they all lost they wigs....

  • @HelliosArgaion Hahaha.

  • Where can I get this?!

  • its metal

  • This is one of the best metal videos in my profile favorites and I have many.

  • I love it..

  • i love this song

  • We will ROCK Mozart

  • Mozart would listen to Metal.

  • Rock me Amadeus! :)

  • @Faldegast lol

  • METAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!

  • Que buena rola !!! Larga vida al metal!!!!!!

  • Badass!

  • If Mozart came back to life, he would definitely be a metalhead

  • @poochi00 There's actually quite a bit of truth to that, Metal has a closer relationship to classical music than any other modern genre.

  • @poochi00 oh for sure it would be exactly like in bill and teds excellent adventure when bethoveen hit the music store lol but yah most classical musicians would deffinetly be metal heads just look how PERFECT metal and classical mix its absolutley uncanny

Metal is not just a Genre of music.........

Its a way of life........Dave Mustane

  • @poochi00 lol!

  • wicked!

  • 14 persons disrespect Mozart.

  • LOL

    It's fun! :P

  • -.-

  • Mozart is banging his head in his grave

  • @musicMan1445

Or he's banging something else.....the music is THAT good.

  • @musicMan1445 I think it might be better to say: Mozart is headbanging in his grave. Banging his head my be interpreted a bit different than you most likely meant it ^^

  • @maddnezzsszz Well, he may well be banging his head if hes in a coffin. Not much room to move...

  • @musicMan1445 More likely he's giving headbutts...

  • OMG... sugoiii.... I adore♥

  • Who could dislike this? That's just ridiculous. Some people just don't understand good music.

  • The first 7 seconds of this song sound like the first 6 seconds of "Play With Me" by Extreme. Could both be fans of Mozart? 0_o

  • @MinionOfDeth2112 in Extreme's song there's a piece of Mozart's Rondo a la turca -.-

  • people die but songs are forever

  • This is great!! Classical and metal music actually do come close to each other and that's why I love both genres. Mozart's Requiem, in any case, is more heavy&hardcore than most metal songs out there ;D

  • Comment removed

  • That tears it. I'm getting this album

  • WOOOOOOOW Realy nice

  • in all my days playing guitar I found the songs I have been looking for Classical metal

  • yes Mozar Life now the best Jebi XD

  • Mozart just brike his neck from all the headbanging!

  • Mozart, party on! Excellent!

  • sin comentarios.....

  • Actually that's Rondo Alla Turca, it's not a march. But who cares, it's awesome.

  • @Google666 Its called "Turkish March" in English although "Rondo Alla Turca" is its origional name XD

  • If Mozart would live in our times,he would play in Dark Moor or Rhapsody of Fire =)

  • my father is65 and he loves this . my dad is awesome

  • Comment removed

  • @bark1986

I showed this song to my mom (born in 1947) and she wanted the cd for her car... XD

uhm, well, she was an Elvis girl back then. ^^

  • I loved !

10 people don't understand what music is..

  • @JulienR01 correction....they don't like it....they just missed the Like buttom hahahahhahaha

  • @KuchikiTaichou6 you are right xD that is the only logical explination xD

  • great, and perfect

  • BIEN HECHO DARK MOOR

  • gorgeous

  • interesting, but i think that their take on his whole requiem in Dies Irae (Amadeus) was way more impressive. :P

    inb4hate.

  • larga vida al power metal!!!!

  • NightWishTheBest1 knows what he's talking about. Metal is the only genre where the artists use the same scales and modes as many of the classical masters of the Rennesance and Baroque periods.

  • Why not Turkish march ???

Mozart got the inspiration to compose this song from the mighty march of the turks, so why change the name???

    But still great rendition

  • @janersulce32 because turks suck

  • @OrnluWolfjarl And this is coming from where ????

  • @janersulce32 well, not from a turk, that's for sure. Remember? they suck

  • @OrnluWolfjarl U don't get my question do you ???

Never mind I get how smart u are...

  • @janersulce32 nah i get ur question, im just trying to come down to the level of a turk so u can understand me

  • @janersulce32 ok, seriously im just trolling. I've got nothing against turks dude.

  • Mozart just air guitared

  • this is better than the origional

  • i dont think this really compares to mozart at all. lol

  • Dragonland... Dark Moor... who cares?? They're both awesome!!

I think Dragonland's version is very, very, very fast, but Dark Moor is a bit more laxy-dazy (sp?) and happy-sounding for some reason, haha!

  • No doubt that the morons who say metal is just noise are pure ignorants. If they only knew, metal is the genere that approaches classical music the most, for the harmonies included in the song, as well as the enormous quantity of notes in only one song or strophe, but carefully chosen to sound as amazing as they actually do.

  • OMG

mozart, dark moor, dragonland CANT CHOOSE WHICH I LIKE MORE!!!!!!

  • awesome!!!

  • LETS FACE IT, MOZART WAS THE ROCKER OF HIS TIME !!!!!!!

  • @DarkwolfMorg he still is.

  • @DarkwolfMorg o rly?

  • @DarkwolfMorg thats true dude

  • @DarkwolfMorg uahsuhsahuusha, definitely...

  • @DarkwolfMorg METAL HEAD!

  • @DarkwolfMorg Fuck yeah hahaha rock on, Mowzart! :D

  • nice

but i prefer the dragonland version

  • what is the name of the Mozart song they are covering?

  • @ChaosMaster7 Turkish march

  • @CassiaBlueLava Fail.

    Rondo Alla Turca

  • @StewieSwan Fail as classical music names are somehwhat different in each language.

  • @CassiaBlueLava I second that... Fail troll. It is turkish march and that's final.

  • @gekko434 actually its rondo alla turca, and its just got different translations. Rondo alla turca is the name used by mozart.

  • @gekko434 same

  • @StewieSwan same thing

  • hehe, funny XD

  • rondo alla turka :D:D i love the real and this cover \m/ DARK MOOR FTW

  • Happy to be in Metal after 25 years ! . . .

  • rondo a la turca

    power metal

  • i would like to see any other type of music top this cover

  • Just wooow!!

  • @Nomekiller why do you say that ?

  • @cladstriff2 Because I have this fucked up idea that I should just toss my opinions out instead of keeping them for myself, and that people like you care at all about my opinions.

  • @Nomekiller don't talk to me this way, you stupid !

  • @cladstriff2@cladstriff2 Oh, why I find it terribly boring you mean? Because the whole cover is damn predictable. The song is great, but I mean, ask any power metal band to do a cover, and they would do it like this; fast shredding lead guitar playing the main theme, preferably very high up on the guitar neck, rythm guitar playing powerchords + bass, and then of course double bassdrum kick for every single note that the fast shredding lead wanking guitarplayer plays.
