  • Now that's what I call a proper informative video. Well done. YouTube is too full of idiots who buy old analogue stuff and then just make videos of them making noises.

  • Very interesting review. The thing about the sliders being wired "backwards" is easily explained: my guess is that many keyboard players of the time were used to variants of the drawbar design of hammond organs, so the sliders are actually designed to emulate drawbars, rather than conventional volume controls for the voices.

  • Thanks for this good and clear video. However, the Solina String Ensemble was originally made by a dutch company called Eminent. Later Arp bought it in hope to recover there almost bankrupt company and rereleased it.
