I, as musc lover, have in the stoner rock one of my favourites musical styles. But as a bassist, I worry a lot, for the bass is usually left aside for the guitars, or the tunning is too low for the bass even to be heard. But with The Sword is different. Bryan has a lot of space for improvising, and he is very well heard. This comes from a great music architecture. Well constructed and well played.

Can't wait for those guys to come to Brazil.

well, he isn't a great singer, but live the voice is by far better than on the record! Don't misunderstand, I love the records, even the retro recording sound, which gives it a roughness that fits to the music, but I would like them to spend Denton vocal school lessons ;)

They played this when I saw them last thursday at the camden Underworld, it was fucking fantastic. Well...best gig I've ever been to infact.

If you're going to see the sword, expect to get your face melted. They're gunna be huge in years to come.
