The Stargate Universe show has officially been cancelled by the Sy Fy channel. Its a shame, it was finally ramping up. They'll show the rest of season 2 & then the network is dropping it. I see a lot of input & anger by the fans on facebook & twitter on figuring out how to keep it going & doing a writing campaign. The fans are coming out & not sitting by and letting this happen to this Starage series (its growing daily!) - I am one of them. "Save Our Destiny!" Don't sit by!

Well. Most of the actors are Canadian, and nearly 80% of it is Canadian too.

I also don't think it's that its a bigger audience. I think I heard it has to do with some sort of international copyright laws which allow videos to be streamed in the United States for free but in other countries there are legal issues.
