The ONLY reason the Pens considered moving the team had nothing to do with low attendance, it was ENTIRELY about getting a new arena, which was promised after the Steelers and Pirates received their new digs. That arena was packed nightly from '84 - 2004 when Lemieux was here and has been since Crosdby arrived 5 years ago. Nearly 26 years of mostly packed houses IS NOT A BANDWAGON.

emerys off ice troubles were only a part of why the sens dumped him. he got hurt and and when he came back his poor play prompted them to start gerber who played better which reduced emerys playing time. as a result emery acted like a 5 year old and feuded with the coach (paddock). being late to practice and fighting team mates in practice did him no favors either. the sens sent him home because of his piss poor attitude.
