Yep, just another reason to love this show. Every season a different intro and theme song version (except season 3 and 4). Fred Dryer and Stephanie Kramer had great chemistry. Classic TV. I'm not a rock and roll kind of guy, but this intro is kick ass indeed. The closing credits theme is sweet as well.

YES!! Finally... another "Mike Post/ Pete Carpenter" fan. They practically had a monopoly on kick-ass tv thems in the 1980's.

I think this is the best season opening because I feel it captures the gritty, somewhat dirty and violent era of the decade and Los Angeles.

And you can't beat Hunter's big 'ol Dodge doing a mid-air roll. THIS SHOW ROCKED!!

I saw most of the series back in '97/'98 on STV here in Scotland, but I've only managed to pick up the first two seasons on r1 dvd, due to the fact that no company over here has released them, and it's a pain when my multi-region dvd players have packed up within six month of buying them, and I can't watch my favorite cop show ever. :(
