If you go just a little bit north of downtown Pittsburgh, you will be at the University of Pittsburgh, right? That is in the Oakland area. Is that a nice area?
You are so wrong. First of all if you don't live there anymore, how can you judge. You can see so much development just from this footage alone. It's definitely not decaying, it was voted Most Livable City and was #2 as the most beautiful place in America. How in the hell is that a shithole I ask?
Hey, take it easy, I love that city, I wasn't trying to be mean. And my family is still there, i'm a few hours away, so I do get there alot. Shithole may have been harsh, but the fact is it is an old city, and a lot of it is run down. I personally like it that way, I like it as a blue-collar town, i'd be upset if Pgh ever became another Boston or Seattle.
Yeah I wouldn't want it to be like Seattle! The truth is it's not as run down as you might think. Pittsburgh is known for steel and manufacturing but today it's based on world-renowned technology, both in robotics and in health care. It's also home to outstanding higher learning institutions. It's just funny how most of the US thinks it's still a smoky city like it was back in the 40's. If my tone was harsh, you know why ;) Pittsburghers love our hometown and will always defend it vehemently.
Ive never been there ,from google earth this place looks good. Not to many cities have neat hills like this . West of Denver every city has mountains.
Again, if you don't live there anymore how can you say that? I refer you to my last comment. It's not a "decaying shithole" for Heaven's sake! Lmao, quite the contrary. Boy when or if you come back to visit you are in for a surprise. When was the last time you've been there, in the 80's lol? Oh snap, I just saw your profile, it all makes sense now.
pittsburgh is a gay shit hole and the fucking joke of America - well at least, the joke of the East

Ahh, my old hometown. I miss it too, even though it is kind of a decaying shithole. It has nice people and a lot of character though.
