the wheels are lowenhart's LD1 and are no longer made. there a 3 piece wheel and the fronts are a 18 by 8 1/2 with a 225/40/18 with a off set of 31 and the rears are 18 by 9 1/2 with a 255/30/18 with a offset of 32. i no longer have these wheels as they started to leak a little . and currently i have pertol reach wheels with 18 by 8 front with a off set of 32 and 18 by 9 1/2 rear with a offset of 35 . hope this helps

i m sure i gain some...not sure how much but the whine from the super charger is alot louder with this intake . when replacing the factory box it eliminates two silencers.

i checked out that site with the picture but wasnt able to find any more pictures. i did see the one you sent me but it still had the factory air box. from what i can see they may have done the maf relocation on the drivers side and they did the bigger pulley. i also con sidered this but again the more modding you do will decrease motor life. i might gain a extra 12 to 15 horse doing this but in my eyes this would be something i do later in life...
there are 2 types of intakes i have seen to our car. the one i have done is the only 1 i have seen and the other is there are 2 air filters one on the bypass valve and one for the intake... again the other style keeps the filters in the hot engine, and mine doesn't ...just make sure if you do one like mine you add a aem bypass valve which will help to prevent water water going into the throttle body good luck DES
and if i didnt sell them i would be stuck with them so i just tell people to do some research like i did and see what works out for you , i have had my intake ( right side) done for about 3 years and finished the left side this year. it is very important to have all clamps near the throttle body tight with no leaks or it can cause issues . i found using 2 of the mercedes clamps on the orig. to be used on the throttle body and out let of the intercooler since they are thinner and fit better
by moving the MAF i here there is better throttle responce. there was a defect when our cars were built and there is a turbulance around 2000 rpm which lags a little but i didnt care since the way i did it looks better . so you have the option to do that but requires some work and a extra MAF to be modded so the coupler can attach to the lower part of the intercooler out let... just do a search on it , it will explain it better then i can i was going to have some made but it could be pricey
yea feel free to use this , i also have another video on here under w202 cold intake that looks at the complete intake done. i found out it is better to have the stainless mandrel bent and the right side i did first they welded the curses in it and the driver side which was done later was mandrel bent and welded which is less. i was going to do the MAF relocation but dont like the way it looks. basically a relocation is the MAf gets moved from the intercooler and moved up to the throttle body

there are superchargers for the c43 but are very rare and hard to find. if i recall hpe made 2 versions of it... as for the star i did leave it on :P and took off the kompressor. as we speak i m having the other side finish and will post pictures
LOL , people like you crack me up, first of all its not a strait 6 and if it was the 3.6 can do 280hp . its a 2.3 liter 4 super charged engine with 223 hp at the wheels , if you dont know engines dont make a comment that is going to make you look stupid any ways most 4 or 6 cylinder engines are capable of doing great power even stying up with the v8's just enjoy the mods that are done that people like me have custom made , made by no other to show others things are possible, dont hate appreciate

Sounds very nice! You did a good job on that custom intake. Haven't been in a parking garage since I did my custom intake... Need to get more video footage, and compile a new youtube video.
By the way, I have had several people tell me it sounds like a siren. Removing the stock airbox creates a very noticable high pitched whine at lower 1.5-3k RPM.
Someone at the mall today yelled out, "power steering fluid", and I gave it some throttle real fast. That shut them up... :)

i purchased H&R springs which lowered the car in front 1.2 inchs with a # 1 spring cup and the rear 1.4 with the factory spring cup which i think was a #4
if your talking about the bypass , yes it is i chose to put it on the intake like it was on the factory airbox, it basically does two things , makes the intake not to loud , and it is emissions freindly. i seen others where they use 2 air filters , one for the air box and one for the bypass . if you like it loud then that would be the way to do it but in most cases the air filters are in the engine compartment. mine is in the bumper.
those are Lowenhart LD-1'S they dont make them anymore and just recently sold them. i have Petrol Reach wheels on my car now, they are also staggered 18 X 8 and 18 x 9.5
if you are talking about the corners , they are a aftermarket replacement you can find proubly on ebay. mine i bought threw a freind but a aftermarket one can run about 35 to 40 dollars and are very easy to install. real bosch clears can run about 150 plus

well its all up to you , as most people do when replacing exhaust some just replace the muffler as i did but if you want to do one better replace the cat with racing cats and a magna flow 22 inch resonator . as for headers there asre some out there like super sprint but that alone will cost you. the factory resonato is high flow and i keeped that to keep the sound low and not to ricey do some research and places around where you live i bought the muffler used 4 a 100 but they are new 4 199 plus
as far as performance chips there really isnt a chip. the bcm gets flashed but from what i understand you want to flash the bcm after all your mods have been done. basically when it gets flashed you maybe gain 5 hp if that and it takes off the limiter.

When you say mufler do you mean the whole exhaust system? Because here in the UK, when we say mufler we just mean the tip of the exhaust. Because that would be shocking if you spent 190 on a exhaust tip.
actually the intake is the basically the air going into the engine. most cars have some kind of factory air box with a air filter.thats a intake... mine is a custom made one which takes the filter into the bumper which allow colder air into the throttle body. colder air combusts better then hot air. which in some cases increases horse power since it runs better
actually the magna flow is alot more reasonable then flow master and remus. i left the factory resonator on and added the magna flow muffler. the muffler goes for about 190.00 . i opted to keep the factory resonator so it aint too loud
i have a 1995 c280 sport i jus installed a magnaflow exhaust yesterdaii n it sounds great.. im going to get a THICK custom intake pipe made and hav it wrapped in thermal tape and black coating to keep hot air out and a kn cone filter and adapter BUT... i dont know where should i lead it down 2 either behind the bumper or close to the whole by the wheel-well... where did you do it 2? any luck with superchargers?
i had mine in the bumper, if you decide to do that run a AEM bypass valve to avoid any unecessary water from going into the intake. you can see where mine is in the video...

well the jeeps are pretty reliable but most newer ones like most dodge and chrysler/jeep when you add aftermarket things to it like alarm/remote start radios etc etc will cost more since most things on there are can bus and multiplexed. other then that i have worked on a couple of those and they seem pretty nice.,

in my honest opinion the kleeman muffler is over priced and would feel a magnaflow set up would be the better . if i recall the muffer by kleeman in like 800. plus dollars and thats just the muffler. but if thats wa=gat you want then he go for it.
in a sence it is since if replacing the factory resonator would have made my car louder which i didnt want , factory cats and resonator are still being used
well i have a magna flow 14833 muffler. was going to install a new resonator but the muffler shop said that mine would be better and its high flow and less drone. if you want more intence sound add a 22 inch magna flow resonator replacing the factory one. if you want to step it up a notch get some racing cats and do a complete exhaust. the intake is custom made by a friend who owns rx motorsports here where i live.
well there are some things you can do as intake and exhaust but most intakes for the c280 puts the filter into the engine compartment which draws hot air into the engine.not very good but good luck with your car.

those are Lowenhart LD-1'S they dont make them anymore and just recently sold them. i have Petrol Reach wheels on my car now, they are also staggered 18 X 8 and 18 x 9.5

if you are talking about the corners , they are a aftermarket replacement you can find proubly on ebay. mine i bought threw a freind but a aftermarket one can run about 35 to 40 dollars and are very easy to install. real bosch clears can run about 150 plus

well its all up to you , as most people do when replacing exhaust some just replace the muffler as i did but if you want to do one better replace the cat with racing cats and a magna flow 22 inch resonator . as for headers there asre some out there like super sprint but that alone will cost you. the factory resonato is high flow and i keeped that to keep the sound low and not to ricey do some research and places around where you live i bought the muffler used 4 a 100 but they are new 4 199 plus

as far as performance chips there really isnt a chip. the bcm gets flashed but from what i understand you want to flash the bcm after all your mods have been done. basically when it gets flashed you maybe gain 5 hp if that and it takes off the limiter.

yes its custom made by a friend here local... there is no intakes made for the kompressor and he was thinking of getting some fabbed up but the company requires a order of a 100 or more...... if you know some one who welds there not much to it . what i did i researched ones that were made and sent him pictures. i seen others where they use two air filters , one for the intake and one for the by pass. my bypass was put on the intake which makes it emissions freindly

When you say mufler do you mean the whole exhaust system? Because here in the UK, when we say mufler we just mean the tip of the exhaust. Because that would be shocking if you spent 190 on a exhaust tip.

actually the intake is the basically the air going into the engine. most cars have some kind of factory air box with a air filter.thats a intake... mine is a custom made one which takes the filter into the bumper which allow colder air into the throttle body. colder air combusts better then hot air. which in some cases increases horse power since it runs better

actually the magna flow is alot more reasonable then flow master and remus. i left the factory resonator on and added the magna flow muffler. the muffler goes for about 190.00 . i opted to keep the factory resonator so it aint too loud

i have a 1995 c280 sport i jus installed a magnaflow exhaust yesterdaii n it sounds great.. im going to get a THICK custom intake pipe made and hav it wrapped in thermal tape and black coating to keep hot air out and a kn cone filter and adapter BUT... i dont know where should i lead it down 2 either behind the bumper or close to the whole by the wheel-well... where did you do it 2? any luck with superchargers?

i had mine in the bumper, if you decide to do that run a AEM bypass valve to avoid any unecessary water from going into the intake. you can see where mine is in the video...

well the jeeps are pretty reliable but most newer ones like most dodge and chrysler/jeep when you add aftermarket things to it like alarm/remote start radios etc etc will cost more since most things on there are can bus and multiplexed. other then that i have worked on a couple of those and they seem pretty nice.,

in my honest opinion the kleeman muffler is over priced and would feel a magnaflow set up would be the better . if i recall the muffer by kleeman in like 800. plus dollars and thats just the muffler. but if thats wa=gat you want then he go for it.

well i have a magna flow 14833 muffler. was going to install a new resonator but the muffler shop said that mine would be better and its high flow and less drone. if you want more intence sound add a 22 inch magna flow resonator replacing the factory one. if you want to step it up a notch get some racing cats and do a complete exhaust. the intake is custom made by a friend who owns rx motorsports here where i live.

the sound you are hearing is the supercharger, the blow off sound is the bypass valve on the intake

well there are some things you can do as intake and exhaust but most intakes for the c280 puts the filter into the engine compartment which draws hot air into the engine.not very good but good luck with your car.

actually i had a friend over here in colorado make it for me. i will be getting the other side done here pretty quick. as far as i know there isn't a company making them and have to be custom made.
