its funny ive been fishing for years and am a HUGE fan of soft plastics, but id NEVER caught a fish on one before... so when i went upto to merimbula for a holiday last week my goal was to catch a fish on a plastic, i was using squidgy fish for flatties tailor snapper etc. i caught more fish on the 1 style of plastic than my dad and brother both did using, bait, hard bodies, poppers etc. i was stoked.. :D

39 cm is a good size for a comp. but just normal fishing my bream record is44cm at the mouth of the hawkesbury river.

The comment about BIG BREAM is what the competition was for ... getting the big bream of the day & he did. It was a decent bream for that area, tiny for others, it's all relative. This footage was taken in 2007 & Kevin has since beaten his record in a comp.

The bream is ok but its not that special guys jeeez i mean its an ok fish but you guys are making such a big deal over an average sized bream. i expect you wont beleive this but i dont care so i'll say it anyway. I catch bream much bigger than this every time i go bream fishing on the boyne river my biggest is 45 but another guy who fishes with us got one that was 48cm and another bloke got one that was 52cm. The average we get is 40cm
