One obvious consequence of those choices is that she is stunningly naive about politics. I'm certain she'd object to human rights violations alleged to be committed by China -- but she is thrilled to meet such US human rights violaters as Dick "Dick" Cheney, who boasts of his use of the crime of torture. (For those as relatively naive: torture is a crime defined in LAW, not in Dick Cheney's office. And it CANNOT be made legal, regardless how one deliberately mislabels it.)
